If you're a boat owner, this town home is the place for you! Situated in the middle of a peninsula that juts out into Cascade Lake, the lake will be all around you, and there are plenty of places to launch. Throw a fishing line out in the lake, or try your luck in the Middle Fork of the Payette River where you can score salmon, steelhead, rainbow trout, bass, catfish or perch. The river's also great for kayaking and rafting. A few miles to the east is Boise National Forest where you'll find at least 12 trails of varying difficulty that take you by alpine lakes and hot springs. Or, take a one day or multiple day hike in Ponderosa or Lake Cascade State Park.

For skiers, there are four resorts within 100 miles. Tamarack is the closest - about 15 minutes to the south. Brundage Mountain is about 45 minutes away, just north of McCall. And don't forget the clubs! Golfers have their choice of eight golf courses between three (Osprey Meadows) and 14 miles of Donnelly.
