house rental amenities
The open kitchen and dining room allows everyone to cook, chat, and play games together. The two master suites on the main floor with king-sized beds offer privacy for the grownups. Send the kids upstairs to the bunk room, with three bunk beds and an extra large closet so even your bags have a place to rest.
In the loft there's a seating area, a sectional sofa, TV and DVD player, and a foosball and air hockey table. (The most inquisitive kids will find the hidden nook, with light and two twin beds, where they can sneak away to.) Two bedrooms upstairs and a bathroom (with a shower only) give space for everyone to play together and have a great night's sleep too.
Head downstairs and it's time for ping pong, or pool, or air hockey, or poker on the convertible game table. Or you can watch the large wide screen TV for serious movie viewing. Grab a snack at the galley kitchen downstairs, step outside for a game of horseshoes, or grab a nap in one of the three bedrooms on this floor (including a third king master suite!).
This home has 3 king beds, 2 queen beds, 2 full beds, and 11 twin beds in the following layout:
Ground Floor - Powder room

activities and attractions in Garden Valley Idaho
Travel north from Boise about 30 miles, then ride the stunning, wooded crest of the hills in Boise National Forest on Banks Lowman Road for another 20 miles or so, until you reach a sliver of verdant beauty known as Garden Valley. One segment of a popular daytrip (especially for motorcyclists!) known as the Boise/Lowman/Banks Loop, Garden Valley and nearby Crouch are traditional stopping-off points on this loop where travelers can rest and grab a some lunch before heading back around to Boise. Prior to the opening of Highway 17 (a.k.a., Banks/Lowman Road) in 1999, the road to Lowman was not for the faint of heart. At that time, the road to Lowman was not via Garden City, but rather by a treacherous gravel switchback snaking up from Idaho City. Now, Highway 17 is a paved corridor that whisks the motorist through breathtaking scenery, historic places, and intriguing landscapes. It offers incomparable glimpses of wilderness, yet is easily and safely traveled.
This beautiful area has played host to trappers, miners, loggers, and a legion of Roosevelt's conservation workers in the 1930s. With Boise National Forest to the west, and the Middle Fork of the Payette River close by, Garden Valley is ideally situated to everything 'outdoors.' Anglers - fly-fishers especially - can test their skills against native bull trout, cutthroat, browns, and bulls. There's kayaking, rafting, and tubing in rapids that go all the way to class 5. Head out on a hike on one of 12 trails in the area. In winter, snow shoe-ers, snowmobilers, and cross country aficionados will have 250 miles of trails to explore. Or, check out some of the hot springs in the area. From Memorial Day to Labor Day, take in a show at Starlight Mountain Theater, an outdoor amphitheater where you'll be entertained in the shadow of forests and mountain peaks.
So hop on the Loop and check out beautiful Garden Valley for a few hours, or a few days. No matter how long you stay, you won't regret it!
