Vacation Rental Description

The views from the deck and front windows of our oceanfront cottage 
are spectacular. Watch panoramic sunsets, lobster boats, kayaks, 
seals, and sea gulls in the bay. Occasionally, an eagle perches in 
the tree near our deck. A few summers ago, a moose swam from the 
mainland to our place for a visit. Be sure to bring your binoculars 
to spot dolphins in the bay. Our pebble beach allows you to walk the 
shorefront and collect seashells. If you prefer sand for making 
castles and swimming, take a short walk to Hadley Point Beach. For 
extra privacy, our driveway, shared with two other private cottage 
owners, winds a quarter mile through the woods from the main road. 
Acadia National Park is 7 minutes away, while downtown Bar Harbor is 
about 10 minutes. 

The main floor of the cottage has a remodeled kitchen and great room 
with hardwood floors. A kitchen table with chairs and a breakfast 
countertop with bar stools allow for plenty of seating. The great 
room with a vaulted ceiling and pine walls has a leather sofa and 
chairs plus a tv/vcr/dvd player. A bathroom and bedroom (twin beds) 
are also on the main floor. The walk-out basement has the master 
bedroom (sliding glass door, queen bed), another bedroom (twin 
beds), a bathroom, and the laundry room.
