The turquoise blue water of the Gulf of Mexico is a short walking distance away. Beautiful sand beaches await you. While on the beach you can hunt for the fossilized sharks teeth that the beach is known for. Fisherman's wharf is close by. There you can rent jet skis, a boat, and scuba gear or enjoy the 750' pier. The fishing is GREAT!! Venice also has many bike and hiking trails nearby. Of course, we can't forget the shopping. Many quaint shops line Venice Avenue as well as restaurants all within walking distance.
