Need Privacy, Separation and Space?: Do you sometimes need your own space or privacy from the rest of your crew when on vacation? Then this place is for you. It's really two separate units in one home. The upper level has two bedrooms, two baths, a full kitchen, living room, dining/sun porch, and an outside deck with a grill. The lower level has its own full kitchen, living area, dining area, bedroom and bath - and a large outside deck. The living areas on both levels each have cable TV, DVD player and stereo/CD player as well. The two levels are interconnected by an interior staircase but can be closed off by an interior locking door. It's a very comfortable setup for families traveling with parents or in-laws desiring their separate space, yet being close to the rest of the 'gang'. Or perhaps you want the kids traveling in your group to have their own space (so you can have your privacy), yet have them close.

Wireless internet is available throughout the property.

The Perfect Getaway

Michael D. ()
Review submitted: March 23, 2013   Date of arrival: August 18, 2012

Bright, sunny and spacious. Super clean and fully equipped. Close to town and an easy walk to the beach. The Treehouse was everything our large family had hoped for... and more. David and his team made sure that everything was perfect. We have booked the same week in 2013!

Owners response: We understand how important a vacation is to our guests. They arrive with families large and small eager to make the Treehouse their 'home away from home'. With three bedroom, three bathrooms, two fully-equipped kitchens, two spacious living rooms, etc., etc., we provide them with plenty of space in which to enjoy themselves. Central air-conditioning helps them to fully relax in the hot summer months. And, yes, the Treehouse is just a five-minute walk to town and an 'easy' ten-minute walk to the beach! Thanks, Michael, for your kind words. We look forward to seeing you in August!

An Oasis in Maine

Ina J. ()
Review submitted: February 20, 2013   Date of arrival: June 30, 2012

The Treehouse was everything we hoped for and more. The property is meticulous and well-maintained, and as lovely as the pictures show. It was also quiet and we felt like we were away from everything, yet in a very nice neighborhood. We were able to walk downtown and to the beach as everything is so close. This area of Maine has some of the best restaurants in the East. So we dined, relaxed, went to a play at the Oguinquit Playhouse (which is a must), and enjoyed every minute of it. We loved it so much we're going back this year! It is truly a "home away"!

Owners response: Thanks for the great review! We are always pleased to have guests return from year to year. Some may skip a year or two. Others come back at another time of the year. This year, we have several returning from last year. One family is returning for their fourth year and this time they are staying for two weeks! We are delighted that so many agree that the Treehouse is the right place to be to enjoy all the magic that Ogunquit has to offer.

A Little Slice of Paradise!

Scott B. ()
Review submitted: August 28, 2012   Date of arrival: August 11, 2012

Having read the many rave reviews of The Treehouse, I have to admit that our hopes were high. That said, our stay at The Treehouse exceeded our expectations in every way! The house is lovely, with five star features that would satisfy even a Four Seasons regular. The beds were comfy, the linens crisp, the living rooms warm and welcoming. The location was a five minute walk from the center of town, just far enough to ensure a quiet stay, but close enough for me to nip into town for an early morning coffee, bringing fresh bread and muffins back for the later sleepers in our group. Our children loved the proximity to the beach, as well as the ample space the house provided to play when the weather was less cooperative. All in all, our best Ogunquit experience to date...it is a house to rival all others! :)

Owners response: At the Treehouse, we work hard to deliver the luxury, location and privacy that we put in our headline. We feel rewarded when we receive 'rave reviews' such as this one that reflect exactly those elements. A sincere thank you to you, Scott, as well as to all our other kind reviewers!
