Olympic Village Escape in Lake Placid

This Beautiful two bedroom home is located just two blocks walking distance to the village of Lake Placid and all its amenities, like the Olympic arena, olympic speed skating oval, toboggan rides, movie theatre, wonderful restaurants and shopping. The centre of Lake Placid is located on Mirror Lake. The road around Mirror Lake is approximately three miless, a walk or run would be wonderful with the breathtaking views of the Adrirondack Mountains. If you like hiking you can access many wilderness trails within a short drive. This house can accommodate four people. The master bedroom has a king bed with a half bath. The second bedroom has two twin beds that can be combined to be a king bed. In the living room, there is a stereo and a flat screen TV with premium cable and a computer for your use. The kitchen is fully equipped with four bar stools and a table and chairs for six. In the basement, there is a flat screen TV with cable, a VCR, and a DVD player, there are weights and excercise mats for your use. At the front and side of the house, you will find a deck with Adirondack chairs for you to sit and relax.

Outside in the garden you can enjoy a barbecuse with a gas grill. A full size washer and dryer is located in the basement. If you are feeling energetic, you can take one of our two kayaks down to Mirror Lake and see the town from the water. In July, watching the fireworks from the water is fabulous. During the winter if downhill or cross-country skiing is your sport it's only a short drive away.
