Beachfront Home on Useless Bay in Whidbey Island

Enjoy a beachfront vacation at it’s best. From this 4 bedroom, 3 ½ bath beachfront home you will feel like you are on a boat when the tide comes in. With unobstructed sweeping views of sunsets, the Olympic Mountains and passing ships, you have great clamming, fishing, crabbing, beach combing or strolling on the beach just outside your front door.
Furnished with comfort in mind, Sunlight Beach Getaway is over 3200 sq feet with an open floor plan, two family rooms and a very open, warm sunny exposure.
The master bedroom with a king size bed and a private bath is on the top floor by itself. There are three additional bedrooms on the lower level. One has a queen bed and the other two each have 2 twin beds.

Our Sunlight Beach home has been a summer getaway for families for over 12 years now. Much of our summer fills up with repeat guests so be sure to email us early if you would like to visit during this time.

Our house is 90 minutes from Seattle including the spectacular (car) ferry ride. We are 12 minutes from the ferry and 12 minutes from Langley. Whidbey Island is a bucolic paradise that has many interesting shops, local theater, movie theatres, art galleries, antique stores, gardens, and great restaurants including the world class restaurant at the Inn at Langley. There’s hiking, golfing, horse back riding as well as bike, kayak and boat rentals; an abundance of activities for everyone.

Don’t overlook the numerous State Parks and especially the old growth walk at South Whidbey State Park. There are many seasonal festivals and two Farmer’s Markets, one of which runs 10 months a year. From our location you can take wonderful day trips, such as to the Olympic Peninsula. But most guests, like us, just want to stay close to their slice of paradise on the beach!

Three night minimum in the off-season

Rates are for up to 8 guests - maximum occupancy is 8 including children of all ages

Prices do not include 10.7% sales & lodging tax
