Downtown McCall, just three minutes away, has 36 restaurants catering to every taste. Visit one of them when you're done sampling all the unique shops and galleries (53 of those)! in this picturesque town that was chosen in 1938 as the location for the movie North by Northwest. If you're staying in and cooking, submerge yourself beneath the school of wooden fish on the wall and try your culinary skills in this beautiful, modern, fully equipped kitchen. There are lots of pots and pans, plenty of cutlery at your fingertips, and lots of counter space, so prep work is easy. Cleanup's easy too. Just load everything in the dishwasher. Everybody will fit at the dining room table with room for six and a pleasant view of the pine trees and aspens just beyond the patio in back. Aspen Condo sleeps six comfortably. There are two bedrooms, each beautifully decorated, each echoing the outdoors motif with bobsleds, fish, and lighthouses. In one bedroom, you'll sleep in a big, comfortable king bed. The other bedroom has a queen bed. Both have their own private bath, so traveling couples can enjoy more privacy. Those extra people can bed down on the pullout queen sofa bed in the living room.

All of you can head over to the community's swimming pool for dip in the Aspen Community's pool or an invigorating soak in the hot tub. Before you do, you might want to break a sweat in a game of tennis or racquetball. Pop into the Aspen Market at the entrance to the community and pick up some groceries or rent a DVD. No matter what you like to do; no matter when you come, McCall has something for everyone! Golfers: the clubhouse for McCall Municipal is just a block away. Or, head over to nearby Whitetail, Tamarack, Osprey, or Jug Mountain to tee up. Ponderosa State Park, just northeast of town, has hiking, biking, and snowmobiling trails and a spectacular view from Osprey Point. The docks at Ponderosa are also a gateway to the lake for boaters and anglers. You can also drop a line in the Salmon and Snake Rivers. Skiers can hit the slopes at Brundage Mountain, less than 20 minutes away, or make the trip to Tamarack Resort or Jug Mountain.
