Good snowboarding trip

Went for four days of snowboarding. The house was great! Had everything you could possibly want. From a really nice, fully equiped kitchen to enough room for plenty of people without being in eachothers space. I would definately come back, and with a few more people next time. It had a nice size TV and a beautiful view from the balcony. It was also really close to the slopes in Breckenridge. Overall a really good place and we had a blast. definately recommend it.

Room for improvement

Not the best rental experience I've had since, unknown to me, the owner was out of the country for the past three weeks and impossible to reach by phone or email regarding the deposit refund. I was beginning to think I'd been stiffed on my "totally refundable" deposit. The day after I complained to Vacationrentals.com about not being able to reach the owner regarding the refund and was told by them they would try to contact the owner with my concerns, I finally got an email from the owner and received the deposit refund, minus $25 because I used Paypal to pay the rental fee and deposit.

The townhouse had plenty of room for the six people in our party and it was easy enough to get to and from town (a little trickier at night). The drive was beautiful. The main level carpets were very stained and there were stains on the futons with pieces of food and dirt in the folds when they were opened (not a good thing to discover when you're tired and ready to sleep on them the first night). The pellet stove that we looked forward to enjoying at night wasn't working and we had to flip on breakers to make the wall heaters work which wasn't explained in our arrival instructions; we just figured it out for ourselves. The kitchen was partially updated and there was plenty of room at the dining table for several people to sit. The bathrooms were updated and the nicest part of the house. All of the bedding could use an update since it's pretty worn and tattered-looking. At that altitude, the stairs may be an issue for some people and it's a long way down the stairs from the top level to the bathroom on the second level in the middle of the night. The view off the small deck was nice, but pretty much obstructed by the trees. There were a few foxes that visited the row of townhomes each day that were fun to watch.

Compared to other properties I've rented, I would have rated this one as 3 average, but instead rated it only as 2 fair due to my inability to reach the owner and the fact that it took nearly three weeks longer than I was told to receive my deposit refund.

What a view!

Very nice townhouse. Can easily sleep 12 or more. Very clean. Fantastic location with a gorgeous view!

Recommended for: adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers, sight seeing
