Pelican Pass offers an enjoyable setting for a single or multiple family vacation. The open floor plan allows ample room for the family on the move always entertaining and cooking delicious appetizers & meals or a more relaxed environment with a good book and full view of the Atlantic Ocean.
Since Pelican Pass is built on stilts, the underneath offers the perfect setting to enjoy the picnic tables for a hamburger / hot dog cookouts at lunch and of course, a lowcountry boil for dinner. What's a lowcountry boil? Fresh Shrimp, corn, sausage, potatoes and some Old Bay seasoning all boiled together is a large pot. Simmons Seafood or Raul's Seafood on Shem Creek offer great local caught shrimp.
Across the front yard down the short walkway you'll find the pool. Large enough to for several families to enjoy but hardly ever truly crowded! It's the perfect spot to re-fresh.
Pelican Pass was re-furnished in Nov 2008 but who cares right - you're on vacation you're not there to be inside all day. So get out and enjoy the beach, Wild Dunes Golf courses, downtown Charleston (20 minutes away), shops at the Town Center (10 minutes away), IOP marine for jet ski rentals, kayaks, fishing charters and more.
Come only to have a good time.
