Great Escape River Lookout in Gulfport

The River Lookout is conveniently & centrally located on the Mississippi Gulf Coast in a city of Gulfport subdivision, North of I-10, exit 38.

If you are looking for a peaceful, 'getaway from it all' vacation or a vacation where you stay in a secluded area, but are just minutes away from awesome dining, great shopping, casinos, golf courses, Gulf of Mexico Beaches (less than 8 miles away, on a light traffic, 4 lane road, with few lights), and entertainment, this is the place for you and your group. Close to the fun, yet feeling like you've gotten away from it all.

River Lookout is beautifully furnished with all the beds, mattresses, pillows, sofas, dressers, end tables, kitchen's items (plates, glasses, pots, etc.), TVs, etc. All brand new. Attention to detail makes sure this the house you are looking for. From the Room Darkening Curtains, fully equipped kitchen; the house even has a portable Ice maker for your convenience.

First, what's it like on the outside? It's really pretty cool!

On the River, people love their outside spaces. At home, you may stay inside your home, but vacation here and you'll want the views, the quiet atmosphere, river, and all the River Lookout has to offer.

There is a very large elevated deck, just off the front door. It's has a grill, some shaded areas, large umbrella's, lounge chairs, tables and chairs. Enough for the whole group to have an awesome dining & relaxing experience.

Plus a Great view of the Biloxi River!

Under this deck, it's shaded and private. There is a 14' x 8' Hot Tub. It's enormous and could probably seat your entire group at once. Can't you just imagine all of your family & friends, visiting, laughing, drinking a frozen beverage in a giant private hot tub? Stay at the River Lookout and you don't have to just imagine.

The house and grounds are on a unique piece of property. The entire back yard is elevated and supported by a concrete wall. It's a cool barrier to the river, keeping the River Lookout property private while not blocking views of the river.

Enjoy a picnic at the Pavilion area down by the River or even a dip in the River. By April we will have a steel fire pit installed for those who enjoy a good old' fashion campfire.

As great as the outside sounds, it's actually the more rustic side of things about the River Lookout.

The inside, of this elevated house, is all new, comfortable & surprisingly contemporary house. It's open floor plan offers a large kitchen, dinning, & living area. Great for every one to gather in one place.

Inside you will find a great layout, with 4 bedrooms, 2 full baths, 7 Full size to King size beds, 4 Flat screen TVs, large fully equipped kitchen, wireless Internet, & laundry room with washer & dryer.

The Master bedroom has a King Size bed and flat Screen TV. Down a short hall, only accessible from the Master bedroom is a closet and full bathroom. The bathroom has a double vanity, shower & separate tub area. This Bedroom, is to the East side of the house, with some awesome room darkening curtains; for those who enjoy sleeping in on their vacation.

Towards the west side of the house, is a hallway, off of which you will find the laundry room, another full bath, a 2nd bedroom with a King size bed, a 3rd bedroom with a queen size bed, and a 4th bedroom with two, Full over Full size bunk beds. This one bunk room, can sleep up to 6 (2 in each of the bottom bunks & 1 in each of the top). These bunk beds are NOT the flimsy bunk beds you may imagine, but extremely sturdy, lots of clearance between bottom and top bunk beds. If you are with a Man's Golfer Group, you need not be concerned if these beds are adequate. They are very comfortable, sturdy, and designed to sleep a Large Man, even on the top bunk.

The interior is coordinated, newly decorated, & well laid out. There are no futons, beds built into closets, bedrooms over stuffed with multiple beds, that you have to almost climb over to get out of the room. The windows have mini-blinds & room darkening curtains. The count of 12 in 7 beds, allows for 5 couples, sleeping in 2 full beds, 1 queen bed, and 2 king beds. The 2 full bunks (in one large room) also have a full size bed above them for 1 additional person in each of the top beds. While we try to limit the top count to 12 people, depending on your groups desired sleeping arrangements, there are also 2 sofas in the living room, which are okay for people to sleep on, although we don't provide additional bedding for that.

1 Large Bedroom has 2 full over full bunk beds.  These are not flimsey beds, but sturdy, wooden beds, that a 200 + lb man would feel comfortable sleeping in the top bunk.  They were build for adults.   This room will sleep up to 6

At the hosue:

The Large, private Hot Tub, will relax you.  The enormous elevated deck out the front door with grill, is a perfect place to grill up a quick bite.  The fully equipped kitchen with all the cookware you want, is right there.  The great room, offers a open floor plan to the kitchen and dining area.

Back of the property:

Offer access to a pavillion right on the River.  Grill here or just enjoy a dip in the lazy Biloxi River.  Bring your fishing poll & bait, and catch something to put on the grill or bake in the stove.  Bring your boat and we have a spot for you to dock.

Gulfport / Biloxi:

Casinos, Charter Fishing, Excellant Resturants, Shopping, water sports, the list is endless for what you can do on the Gulf Coast

$125 - 185 per night (1st 2 nt. $185/ea. Additional nights $125/ea.).
