Vacation Rental Description

The first thing you notice when you walk in the house is the lush tropical foliage that greets 
you as you enjoy your morning coffee on the large lanai facing the canal and patio dock.  
This spotlessly clean home is fully equipped to enjoy your tropical vacation. The house is only five  
minutes by boat to Charlotte Harbor. From your doorstep you will observe exotic birds, fish and  
wildlife that populate the local landscape.  
 
Park a boat at the private dock with deep water sailboat access (no bridges) to the Gulf of Mexico,  
barely five minutes to the open waters of Charlotte Harbor.  
 
Like the Beach? It's a 20 minute drive to Englewood Beach, Manasota Key, Boca Grande, and 30 minutes  
to the Venice Beaches, which offer uncrowded sandy  
expanses of beach to enjoy the sun, surf and shell collecting so popular in southwest Florida.   
 
El Jobean Florida is a quiet fishing - sailboat village consisting of year round and seasonal  
residents on the Myakka River at the northern tip of Charlotte Harbor in Southwest Florida, known  
worldwide for its excellent fishing, and unlimited boating opportunities on the Florida  
intracoastal waterways.

Vacation Rental Amenities

A comfortable living room with Cable TV and internet access looks out on a large lanai, with outside  
dining and a large area for relaxation.  
Sleeping accomodations include a Master suite with adjoining private bath, and walk in closet. 
The second bedroom also has a queen sized bed and is adjacent to the second full bath with tub and  
shower.  
Extra sleeping space is provided in the family room by a day bed (two twins). The living room sofa  
opens to a double sleeper.  
 
The kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator with ice maker, electric range,  microwave,  
dishwasher, and small appliances. 
 
A washer and dryer is provided for your exclusive use. 
Dishes,cookware,linens, and basic cleaning supplies are included. 
 
A gas grill is provided on the concrete patio facing the canal.  
 
Bikes are provided to explore the neighborhood and local bike trails.  
  
A 2-car carport allows covered parking for two cars or a boat and trailer.  
 
A community boat ramp to launch your boat is 5 minutes away by land  
or water. There is also a local marina with gas, bait, and refreshments.

Activities and Attractions

Beaches: El Jobean Florida is only a 20 minute drive to  
Englewood and Boca Grande Gulf beaches. It is less than an hour to Venice, and the white sands of  
Siesta Key in Sarasota.  
Golf: Riverwood Country club is less than a mile providing first class golfing  
opportinities. Charlotte and Sarasota county feature dozens of other golf opportunities.  
Fishing: The El Jobean fishing pier across the Myakka River is a great spot to drop a line and fish  
without  
using a boat.  
Hiking: Several nature preserves  and trails within a short  
drive offer opportunities for hiking and bird watching.  
Shopping:  Charlotte Towne Center Mall, just 10 minutes away, features shopping and popular  
restaurants. Groceries, gas and fast food is even closer.  
Dining out: A variety of water front restaurants are accessible by  
boat or car. 
Rentals:  Local attractions also include charter fishing, boat  
tours, kayak and jet ski rentals. 
 
Convenience: Two convenience stores within walking or biking distance offer gas and groceries.  
The Bean Cafe is a local historical cafe featuring nightly live music.  It is a short walk to  
casual dining at the Frosted Mug. 
 
Churches:  It is less than a 15 minute drive to churches of all denominations in Gulf Cove, North  
Port, Port Charlotte, and Englewood.
