This lovely condominium townhouse at the popular Madeira Beach Yacht
Club is located in a prime waterfront position, with probably the
best location and views in the whole complex. Sit and relax on your
own private balcony, overlooking water and boats - NOT the car park!
See some guest comments below. We rent to adult couples only - no
children. It is our home in Florida, so of a much higher standard
than regular rentals.
The house sits within an attractive, well maintained, gated &
guarded condominium with on-site management. The Yacht Club is not a
resort, but a private, residential condominium which allows short
term rentals. Less than 45 minutes drive from Tampa Airport and just
20 minutes from St. Pete’s-Clearwater airport, it's a generous 1069
square-foot waterfront townhouse on two levels (2nd & 3rd floors).
Outside the front door is a private south and west facing terrace
balcony overlooking intracoastal water. Sit and watch boats,
pelicans, parrots, and occasionally dolphins swim by. Neighbours
tell us "you have the best seats in the house"!
Offering clean and very comfortable accommodation, the house is
nicely decorated with designer touches and is generously furnished.
It’s very well equipped and is light and bright, with everything you
need for a fantastic vacation. Carpet and tile throughout, with some
full mirrored walls, open plan downstairs with living room, dining
room, kitchen and a separate toilet/washroom/laundry. The kitchen
has new GE appliances and a large filtered ice and water fridge
freezer. The living room has two large, soft leather sofas and cable
TV with video & DVD.
Upstairs is a huge bedroom with cathedral ceilings, a king-size bed
and separate sitting area, 2 telephones, cable TV & Video. There is
a large walk-in closet and a full bathroom and shower.
Unobstructed water views from EVERY window and and sunset skies from
the living room and bedroom! This really is a lovely place to stay
and provides a high standard of accommodation. All you need is your
toothbrush!
The sugar white sand and shell beach is only a 5 minute walk
and you can see the sea of the Gulf of Mexico from the bedroom
windows. The house is located just steps away from the largest of
the two heated pools and the billiard room and gym. There is a dock
opposite for fishing or to just sit by the water reading.
Madeira Beach is a safe and relaxing small town, situated on a Gulf
of Mexico barrier island. There are so many local amenities within
walking distance you don't even need a car to enjoy a vacation here.
The Beach Trolley Bus runs up and down the coast at regular
intervals, from Clearwater to St.Pete's and is a very cheap and
convenient ride. Routes and stops are listed in flyers at the house.
The Yacht Club complex is right on Boca Ciega Bay - there's water
everywhere! If you are looking for a quiet place this will suit, but
if wanted, there are also many activities and night life to be found
nearby.
This house is our home away from home and therefore of a much higher
standard than a regular vacation rental. Most other units here have
dark and gloomy interiors (due to very few windows) which need
lighting switched on all day. Most overlook the car parks but our
waterfront townhouse is very bright and airy. It has large vinyl
windows all around, tinted and double glazed making the place quiet
and comfortable. Our water view and location is in our opinion the
best in the whole complex. It is well worth any extra cost over and
above other cheaper units - you will not be disappointed.
An ideal vacation home for non-smoking adult couples who appreciate
quality.
No tenant pets allowed by association rules.

Vacation Rental Amenities
Air Conditioning, Heating, Three Telephones, Three Cable
TVs, DVD Player, Two VCRs, Stereo Radio & CD Player. Full Kitchen
with Smooth Top Stove, Microwave, Dishwasher, Freezer, Refrigerator,
Ice Maker, Filtered Water, Cooking Utensils & Crockery. The living
room has Leather Sofas. All good quality Linens are included and
there is a Washer, Dryer, Iron & Ironing Boards in the house. Beach
Chairs, Patio Chairs & Pool Floats. There are maps & guides, jigsaws
& board games.
The complex has Two Heated Pools, a Jacuzzi, Saunas, Exercise Room
with weights/treadmill/cycles, etc, Card and Reading Room, Billiard
Room with two Pool Tables & Four Fishing Docks.
WALK TO - Many different Shops, including Restaurants (2 Italian,
Upscale American, Bar Diner, Japanese/Thai), Coffe shops, a
Supermarket, Post Office and a Drugstore.
The Gulf Beaches Library is across the street to which temporary
membership is available to visitors. As well as a huge range of
books, a large range of movie DVD's, videos and music CD's are
available for loan. They have computers to use with Internet access
and printing facilities. If you bring your own laptop, free Wi-Fi
wireless internet connection is also available at the library.
FOOD!! A huge selection of local restaurants within a few minutes
walk or a short drive. Casual & up market, offering the best Seafood
and Steaks, Chinese buffets, Italian, Thai and Family Style, among
many others. Early bird specials are a feature at most. A large
folder of local menus and area maps is provided in the townhouse.
If you want privacy or to socialize, there's everything you could
need here and around for a great vacation!
Activities and Attractions
A small Fitness Center, pool tables, swimming & Saunas (on site),
Tennis, Basketball & Shuffleboard,(across the street). Amusement
Parks - Busch Gardens 45 minutes drive, Disney & Universal, etc,
about 2 hours. Fishing (boats, pier, beach, lake), Golf (many public
courses), Bird & Wildlife watching (local parks and nature walks),
Cinemas, Museums, Galleries, Sightseeing, Swimming, Boating,
Sailing, Parasailing, Jet Skiing, Windsurfing, Shelling, Shopping,
Antiquing, Huge Flea Markets, etc, ......and of course, the beach!
The city park is just across from the Yacht Club. Weekend & flood-
lit evening softball games are played here by adults & kids and can
be watched from the bleachers. There are also rest areas, free hoops
& tennis courts, etc.
Just relax and enjoy the view - but if you want activities
use the beach & pools and many other facilities. So much to do if
you want to be busy and so quiet if you don't. The local tourist
info center is at John's Pass and is loaded with flyers, coupons,
dicounted ticket offers and other information.
It's about two hours drive to the theme parks of Orlando. Two and a
half hours to Kennedy Space Center. Half an hour to downtown St.
Petersburg for the Pier, shops, restaurants, antique malls, museums
and nightlife.
John's Pass Village and Boardwalk with it's interesting shops and
restaurants is less than a couple of miles away at the south end of
the island. Here you can visit lots of shops, restaurants & café’s,
hire water sport equipment and fishing charters and even go gambling
on a casino cruise boat. Don't forget to feed the Pelicans!
Vacation Rental Rates
NOTE: This house is rented to non-smoking couples (TWO PEOPLE ONLY),
to maintain the high standard offered. You will need no concern
about the quality of location, facilities and accommodation - it is
a $350,000 property and well worth the rental price when compared to
other units on offer. The prices also compare with hotel
efficiencies in the area, whose facilites cannot compare!
High Season - 1st Dec to 30th April - $725 weekly - $2650 monthly
Mid Season - 1st May to 31st July - $595 weekly - $1975 monthly
Low Season - 1st August to 30th November - $525 weekly - $1725
monthly
One week (7 night) minimum.
An additional single charge of $70.00 covers electric, cable TV,
cleaning on departure, local phone calls and a half hour of long
distance for monthly rentals. Everything is covered.
Add 12% to the total for Florida State and Pinellas County Sales &
Tourist Tax (registration certificates posted in the house).
Security deposits are $250 weekly then $350 for monthly stays or
longer.
CREDIT CARDS ACCEPTED thru PayPal at no extra charge.
Cancellation: Less than 60 days notice deposit is forfeited. More
than 60 days there is a $75 cancellation fee.
