From the moment you step into this home's beautiful stone-tiled entryway, you'll be struck by its elegance and spaciousness. With wood-paneled walls that rise up seamlessly and become the ceiling, angled beam work, and massive windows, you'll enjoy the best in lodge-style ambiance. Enjoy a panoramic view of meadow and mountain from nearly every corner. When it's chilly, flip on the gas fireplace and warm up to the sound of your favorite CD or iPod in the dock. Settle in with that novel, or catch a movie before bed on the DVD player.

Hot Springs Retreat sleeps six comfortably. There are two bedrooms and a loft upstairs, each with a queen bed. The master bedroom is a carpenter's dream, integrating complex design with multiple windows, creating a space that's roomy and bright. The attached master bathroom continues the unique design with a big tub where you can soak away your cares! The other bedroom is also a warm and comfortable space, tastefully decorated with lots of pillows and plush linens. Head up to the loft where you'll find yet another queen bed, a small table (big enough for a puzzle or a board game), and a bird's eye view of the elegant space below. The home has two full bathrooms and a washer and dryer.

There are two small markets nearby. It's a good idea, though, to stock up before you come. Your cook will love this fully equipped modern kitchen with lots of room to navigate. Along with a stainless steel stove, microwave and dishwasher, your cook will have plenty of pots, pans, and utensils. There's room for four at the dining table and three more on the stools at the bar. When the weather's warm, fire up the gas grill on the deck for a barbecue, or toast those marshmallows and s'mores at the outdoor fire pit.

At Hot Springs Retreat, you'll be just far enough from bustling McCall to enjoy peace and quiet, yet close to all the wonderful sites and activities in the New Meadows/McCall area. The Little Salmon River is just a short distance away, so bring your fishing gear! Head up to Riggins (about 38 minutes away) where you can shoot the rapids in your kayak or sign on with a whitewater rafting charter.

Golfers can tee up at nearby New Meadows Golf Course or choose from six others, all within 20 miles away. New Meadows is also great when the snow flies! The ski slopes at Brundage Mountain and Tamarack are less than an hour away. Snowmobilers: There are numerous trails. (There are maps available at the Forest Service station in New Meadows as well as the Chamber of Commerce in McCall). The home sits on a large lot with plenty of room for parking, although the slight incline of the driveway can be tricky to navigate with a sled or snowmobile-laden trailer in icy weather.
