Coastal cottage, Wilmington Willow, is a 6 mile zip across the marsh to the atlantic ocean and the  
small beach resort of Tybee island.  Within that short distance are many of the area's best known  
seafood resturants and some of the most beautiful roadway through coastal georgia's marshland. WW  
offers the quiet mid ground between  sand and surf and the historic downtown of Savannah; reputed for  
it's beautiful gardens, good food, lively entertainment, and sophisticated art culture.  WW  sits on  
a private sandy road with the marsh in front and expansive in view across the inter coastal waterway  
of the wilmington river.  Willow is of the authentic low country style ofliving and  located in an  
old cluster of cottages, which was once declared a simple fishing village. The original cottage was  
built in 1945 as a fish camp and has recently been restored to offer all amenities of a vacation  
home. This charming retreat offers  gracious lifestyle for entertaining  front porch style while  
overlooking the subtlety of  ebb and flow of Georgia's shoreline  tides.  The southern backside of  
wilmington island offers an unexpected  secluded  getaway from it all.  This tip of the island is  
abundant in water birds, migratory, and the colorful locals.  The tin roofed  cottage is canopied by  
great live oaks, cluster palms, tall old pines and is relaxing for long shady  winter or summer walks  
with the delight of  bird spotting.  The simple tropical setting is just the spot needed away from  
the buzz of  modern lifestyle.  Just sit back and do nothing, grill out,  or read a good book under a   
giant old magnolia covered  with blossoms surrounded by shadowy drapes of spanish moss while watching  
the vibrant red southern sun setting.  The area offers more day  trips  than there are days in the  
week.  WW is owned  and designed by an artist  and offers  the pleasure  of being surrounded by the  
unique display of art.  For sure, the collective  visuals make for a vacation out of the ordinary.
