Sunshine Cottage in Aiken

Delightfully restored 1920's cottage (1,800 sq. ft.) in the Historic District of Aiken, SC, located one block from the Willcox Hotel and an easy two-block walk to downtown for fine dining, shopping, pubs and music.  Three bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths:  One Queen w/private bath w/soaker tub and shower; One Double w/large walk-in shower hall bath and Queen sofa bed in 3rd bedroom/den w/1/2 bath.

The cottage is tastefully furnished w/original art, antiques and comfortable bedding; brick pathways through lovely "English" gardens and a large front porch for afternoon beverages.  Fully equipped kitchen; linens supplied; TV, DVD/VCR and a stereo system throughout; washer/dryer; central air; ceiling fans in all rooms.  Internet access is available across the street at the Aiken County Library.

All of the following attractions are within walking distance of the cottage:  Hopeland Gardens, Rose Hill Estate Gardens; Historic Trolley tours w/The City of Aiken; Aiken Train Depot; carriage rides; hiking in Hitchcock Woods, a 2,100 acre urban forest; Aiken Museum; Aiken Community Playhouse; Center for the Arts and Whitney Field Polo.  The Aiken Golf Club is less than one mile from the cottage.

2014 Masters Rental: April 7 through April 13, 2014 (3-night minimum)
1 to 2 guests:  $390 per night or $2,730 weekly (7 nights); 
3 to 4 guests:  $650 per night or $4,550 weekly (7 nights). 
A $75 housekeeping fee is charged for each visit.
Sleeps two couples comfortably or additional bedding can be provided for four individuals desiring their own bed.  Augusta National is an easy 17-mile drive from downtown, Aiken, SC.

Excluding Master's week, 2014: (2-night minimum):
1 to 2 Guests:  $185/daily;  Weekly $1,295
3 to 4 Guests:  $390/daily;  Weekly $2,725
In addition, a $75 Housekeeping Fee is charged for each visit for 2 nights up to three weeks; housekeeping is $125 up to three weeks to a monthly rental ;  housekeeping is provided at the end of visit.  Reservations should be booked no later than three weeks prior to arrival.

Monthly Executive Rental:  (2 guests maximum): $2,750 (includes utilities), plus a $150 security deposit and a $150 housekeeping fee provided at end of visit.  Housekeeping is arranged through the property owner only.

Reservations three weeks up to one month will be charged utility fees depending on season, a $150 security deposit (refundable if no deductions are needed); and a $125 cleaning fee with housekeeping provided at end of visit.  Housekeeping is arranged through the property owner only.  No pets please, smoking permitted outside.
