Watch the fishing boats go to sea out through the jetty, see the early fog lifting, hear them toot their horn.  See the roar of an ocean storm as you watch through the living room windows. See the sun glistening off a still calm wide open ocean that seems like you can see forever.  Watch the pelicans & sea gulls diving on the water.  Take a walk on the beach and feel the sun on your face, the sand under your feet, and breathe in the whole experience.  See and hear the sea lions bark at you when you visit the old Newport bayfront.   If you want a vacation in a "house by the sea"  this is it. 

At the Arnold Beach Haven Newport home you will experience the wonder of nature.  Whether it's whale watching, crabbing, clamming, fishing for salmon, or just falling asleep in front of a warm fireplace, here you are guaranteed to have FUN!!!

There are NO pets or smoking allowed.

This is a LARGE OCEANFRONT HOME with SPECTACULAR VIEW of the ocean, surf, and beach out of many large windows.

The house sleeps 16 but we will allow up to 20.  It has 6 bedrooms and 3 1/2 baths.

This wonderful home has an elevator in it that is great for the old folks in your group.  It was installed and inspected by the Oregon Elevator Code.  The grandpa's and grandma's in your group absolutely love it.  It is rated for 700 lbs and will easily hold 3 adults. The house also has a regular set of stairs too, of course.

The house has a large kitchen with granite and tile counter tops, many work areas perfect for large groups, beautifully decorated.  It has two sinks, one on each side of the kitchen.  It is equipped with all the major appliances; basic cooking, baking, and eating utensils; dishwasher, and microwave.

There is parking for 6 cars total, with 4 inside the garage and 2 in the driveway.  No motor homes, no boats, no trailers are allowed.  There is no parking along the street.

The house has blankets and pillows.  You will need to bring your own sheets, towels, dishtowels, firewood, paper products such as paper towels & toilet paper, and cleaning rags.  All cleaning supplies are provided except cleaning rags.  You will be expected to clean the house like you found it as it will be inspected after you leave.  If you prefer to have a cleaning service clean the house it will be an additional charge of $120.

The beach house is located about 2 miles south of Newport.  Newport is the hub of the Oregon coast.  It is in the middle of everything to do for your 'house by the sea' vacation experience.

Current Rate Information:

Rates are $195 to $440 per night depending on what time of the year you are using it.
Rates are for the first 12 people.  Add $15 per person per night that exceed 12 people.  

There is a 1% Oregon Lodging Tax and a one time $30 processing/inspection fee.

For the months of July and August we only do 7 day bookings Saturday to Saturday.  The other 10 months we do bookings of any number of days.
