Wilderness Lakes in Temecula

Wilderness Lakes is a flat 80-acre resort with fishing canals that weave throughout the park. It is located close to shopping, hospitals and freeways.  The temperatures are mild in the winter and warm to hot in the summer. 

The resort has a total of 523 sites that include rental trailers and cabins. In our family lodge, our recreation office has equipment and game checkout, a book exchange library, a kids room, and another room with two pool tables and video games. The adult lodge has a billiards room, card & wi-fi room, a puzzle room and TV lounge. Our general store is open 5 days a week, closed on Tuesday and Wednesday. Fishing is one of our most popular activities. The resort will periodically stock channel catfish. Resort fishing permits are required and are currently $10/day per person.

Wilderness Lakes has a lot of amenities that will keep the camper busy. It is a great place to bicycle and walk. Some of the popular activities are the family and adult swimming pool complexes. Each complex has a heated pool and hot tub. The family pool complex actually has 2 hot tubs and a wading pool as well. The resort also has an 18-hole miniature golf course, basketball court, tennis and pickleball courts, horseshoes, and a first class fitness center. The fitness center has four treadmills, 2 elliptical walkers, 2 recumbent bicycles, and a nautilus weight system.
