The Hemingway House transports you to a gentler time, with its giant overstuffed chairs, eclectic artwork, fresh air, wet bar, and elegant decorating. There is even a grand piano to channel your inspiration!
Prestigious Rocky Ridge has pools (summer, Christmas and New Years only), tennis courts, hot tubs, and even a lakefront beach club. The greatest amenity, though, is the truly panoramic lake view from the ridge, an end-to-end look at majestic Lake Tahoe and her ring of mountains.
The living areas are on the upper floor of the townhome, with porches on both sides. The vaulted-ceilinged living room offers a real wood fireplace, comfortable dining table, and plush seating. Cable TV and DVD player are available to entertain. The full kitchen, open to the living space, allows the cook to be part of the action. Also on this floor are a queen bedroom with cable TV, and a full bathroom.
Downstairs, one huge bedroom has a queen bed, a sofa, and a cable TV, as well as the grand piano! The other queen bedroom has a great view of the foliage, and there is a full bathroom between them.
In the summer, venture down to the private Rocky Ridge Beach Club to soak in the sun and swim in the Lake's crystal waters. And everything Tahoe City has to offer is less than a mile away: dining, shopping, rafting, movie theater, biking, farmer's market, movies and concerts on the beach, and nightlife.
