In the great room, soaring ceilings and a full wall of windows offer wonderful views of the evergreen-covered mountainside. Build a fire in the stone-encased wood-burning fireplace, then settle into the leather sectional sofa and enjoy a movie night on the flat-screen cable TV with DVD player. In the warmer months, step out to the patio to soak up the fresh mountain air or watch the stars come out.

On the other side of the great room is an open kitchen and dining area, fully equipped for entertaining with a wine cooler, updated stainless steel appliances, and seating for nine. Grab a cocktail and a barstool to chat with the chef as they chop away or watch the skillet on the island with an electric cooktop. With countertop appliances like a slow cooker, blender, and mixer, it's the perfect spot to try out a new recipe; of course, a dishwasher is also provided for easy clean-up!

A spiral staircase leads up to the second floor, where you'll find a spacious master suite. Skylights overhead allow natural light to flow over the king-sized bed, and the private attached bath offers a tub/shower combo and elegant glass fixtures. The second bedroom is ideal for siblings, cousins, and close friends, with a queen-over-queen bunk bed and a twin trundle bed underneath. This bedroom has its own attached bath with tub/shower combo. Downstairs, the living room's sofa unfolds into a queen bed of its own, and a half bath on the lower level makes it easy for a second adult couple to enjoy their own space in the evening. Altogether, the home is very comfortable for up to four adults, with up to five children permitted as well (and a washer/dryer makes it easy to keep up with laundry during your trip).

Eagle-Vail is a wonderful destination for families or visitors to Vail Valley who like a little peace and quiet along with their world-class skiing, shopping, and dining. Avon and the fabulous Beaver Creek Resort are just a few miles east, while Vail itself is eight miles to the west. Driving between the top destinations in the Valley won't take more than twenty minutes.

Just outside your door you'll find included access to the community swimming pool and tennis courts, with the beautiful greens of the Eagle Vail Golf Course within easy walking distance. If not everyone in your group is a golfer, no need to worry: the area is surrounded by picturesque fishing holes and amazing hikes. The home even comes equipped with two adult and two youth mountain bikes! In the winter, of course, the majestic ski slopes at Beaver Creek are just a short shuttle ride away.
