Pine View Hostel in Keene

The Pine View Hostel is a small house located among the mountains of the Adirondack Park and is located 11 miles from the Lake Placid village, 24 miles from Whiteface Mountain, and 8 miles from Mount Van Hoevenburg.  

The house has 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a living room, a dining area, and a kitchen.  It sleeps 6 people, but if more people wish to stay, there is a charge of $35.00 for each additional person.  We are pet-friendly.  However, a deposit must be received prior to arrival in order for pets to be accepted.

Lake Placid is the home of the 1932 and 1980 Winter Olympics!  The olympic speedskating oval is set up for ice skating, Main Street is bustling with cute little shops and wintery cheer, the ski jumps are standing tall ready to be viewed, and the Olympic Museum is open for all to see in the Olympic center.  These are a few of the many adventures offered in the Olympic Village.

Whiteface Mountain, one of the Adirondack 46ers, is the area's downhill ski mountain. One is able to see it glistening in the sun from many different spots throughout the Lake Placid village.

Mount Van Hoevenberg is the cross country ski and touring center.  There are many kilometers of groomed ski trails as well as snowshoeing trails.  The bobsled track is located next to the touring center and offers bobsled rides throughout the day.
