Ponds called Champagne Pond in Kapoho, which can be accessed and enjoyed from our property. You will be able to snorkel and see tropical fish and Sea Turtles. For a day trip, head to Hawaii Volcanoes ational Park Take a peak at an explosion captured on film in the Kilauea Visitor's Center. Head down the Chain of Craters Road and look for flowing lava. and explore the Thurston Lava Tube, the fern forests, and the other natural phenomena of the area. About One Hour Drive. Kehena Beach is another black sand beach that rests beneath a low sea cliff. The ocean is a bit tricky for swimming, so concentrate on sunning yourself on one of the two patches of sand that is sheltered by a shade of coconut trees. The beach is also known to locals as a clothing optional area. About 15 minutes away.
