This cabin, located on the beautiful Higgins Lake, is the perfect family vacation home. The knotty pine interior gives the house a cabin feel, but includes modern appliances and furnishings. Whether summer or winter, any family can find something to do at this house in northern Michigan.
The master bedroom has a king bed, and windows that face the lake. It also features a flat screen TV mounted on the wall. A second bedroom contains a queen bed. The third bedroom has a bunk bed with two twins, with a double bed under the bunk.
The living room has two couches, two recliners, a flat screen TV, wood pellet fireplace, and plenty of floor space. The open floor plan also has the dining room table, which seats six, directly connected to the living room.
The kitchen has all new appliances purchased in 2012, including: fridge/freezer, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, and sink. All dishes and silverware are included. The kitchen also has an island for extra counter space.
The two bathrooms are full, with one being downstairs and one upstairs. Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash dispensers are filled for every guest in both showers. Towels are included.
The washer and dryer were purchased in 2012 and are available for guests.
Outside the cabin is a deck facing the lake. There is also a dock with room for a boat. Ninety feet of beautiful sandy beach is available for guests. The fire pit is located ten feet from the water. A gas grill is located by the front of the house, on the non-lake side.
