Surroundings: Lake Ann is well known for it's beautiful water and surroundings.  It is centrally located between Sleeping Bear Dunes, Traverse City, Interlochen, Leelenau (wine country), and the best beaches that lake MI has to offer.  All are within 20 minutes of our home.  Crystal Mountain resort and Spa is nearby and offers great Summer and Winter activities as well as a couple excellent restaurants.  The Platte River runs out of Lake Ann and can be accessed nearby for fun family floats out to the beautiful Platte Bay of Lake MI.

Town: Lake Ann is a quiet and quaint lake town and our home is walking distance to the general store and local parks.

Fishing: Lake Ann offers a variety of fish (large mouth bass, rock bass, pike, blue gill, perch, and even an occasional brown trout that can be caught right off the dock or around the lake.  Lake Ann is the headwaters of the famous Platte river.  Many local rivers and lakes offer some of the best fishing in MI.  (My husband would be happy to help with any fishing tips and recommendations and if available would even offer to help guide a fishing trip for a nominal fee).

Golf: Several great golf courses nearby including Mistwood.
