The Lady Bug Lodge is private, secluded, quiet and provides comfortable mountain living with full modern amenities in a beautiful and charming mountain setting located in beautiful Golden Valley Township, northeastern Rutherford County, North Carolina. Lady Bug Lodge is perched high on 39 wooded acres with walking trails providing a scenic view of Golden Valley below. Its 2100 feet elevation makes for cooler climates and relief from the sweltering summer heat.

The Lady Bug Lodge is fully stocked with linens, cooking utensils, microwave, air conditioning, and satellite television. Outside, relax on the spacious porches, one screened in, that afford great mountain views. This area is perfect for a quiet sunrise breakfast, an afternoon read on porch or in the loft or an intimate sunset glass of wine. The Lady Bug Lodge welcomes pets on a case by case basis.

When you arrive, you’ll find the beds freshly made with crisp linens and soft, fresh towels in the baths. The kitchen is fully equipped with cookware, dishes, utensils and the refrigerator and pantry will already be partly stocked.

The Lady Bug Lodge boasts a large welcoming living area with a wood-burning fireplace and vaulted ceilings and lots of windows. Lady Bug has a queen size suite (tub/shower) on the main floor, a king suite (shower) upstairs and queen size suite (tub/shower) on the lower floor. All the beds are “Sleep Number” adjustable beds.

We also have a full size washer and dryer, an outdoor barbeque grill and a cooking kitchen for the creative chef. Enjoy brilliant sunsets from the front view deck.

Smoking is welcomed on the outside porches.

Accommodations include three bedrooms – 1 king suite and 2 queen suites - all with sleep number bedding … sleeping up to six people. Beautiful pine log walls and vaulted ceilings showcase this comfortable mountain home away from home.
