Knotty Pine Cabin in Long Barn in Pinecrest

This cozy cabin is a 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom hide-away.  The bathroom is upstairs.

We have one kingsized bed and one twin bed in the large room. In the Loft bedroom we have a futon that will sleep 1 adult (or 2 snugglers).  Downstairs we have a sleeper sofa that sleeps 2. 

There are 4 recliners, if you prefer to sleep that way. 

The bathroom has a tub/shower, vanity with sink and toilet in the same room.  It is upstairs, so all occupants must be able to climb the stairs.

The dining room seats 6 with a breakfast bar that has 4 barstools.

The living room has a TV with a VCR/DVD player.  Feel free to bring your own movies or watch some of our classics.  The bedroom has a TV with a Bluray player in it.  That gives you the freedom to watch different things!

Pets are welcome at a small fee, but only if they are pre-approved.  We stronly urge all pets be on Heartworm preventative while visiting the mountains.

No pets will be left alone in the cabin for more than 4 hours at a time.

No pets will be left outside alone for any length of time.

The  kitchen has a refrigerator, electric stove/oven, microwave, toaster oven and toaster, coffee pot with filters, all cookware, utensils, plates/bowls/cups and silverware.

There are 3 decks, two on the first floor and one outside the large bedroom.  Ashtrays are provided for outdoor smoking only.  This is a no-smoking cabin.

There is a propane barbeque on the back deck.

The cabin has a propane heater and a baseboard heater.  We also have a wood burning stove in the living room for ambience and warmth, but you will need to bring your own wood and starting kindling.  Lighters are provided.

There is enough parking for 3 or 4 cars, depending on snow.

Verizon cellular service works great and 3G network is available.  Other cellular services, not so much. No land line is available.

We are seconds away from the Long Barn Lodge skating rink and minutes away from Dodge Ridge Ski Area, Lyons Reservoir, Beardsley Lake and Pinecrest Lake.

You can swim, fish, boat, ski, board, sail, hike and skate depending on the time of year you visit. 

If you want to go horseback riding, there is Leland Meadows in the summer.

• $10 pet charge for the first 2 pets.  ALL PETS MUST BE HOUSE TRAINED

• Cleaning fee of $35, includes bed linens.  BRING YOUR OWN TOWELS.  No washer on premisis.  

The cabin is prefessionally cleaned after every renter, so everyone gets the same happy stay.  The cleaning fee is required and not negotiable.  It is not a deposit, but a fee.  All we ask of you is to sweep it a bit and put away your cleaned dishes.  Other rentals require you to clean the entire cabin yourself AND do the laundry!  Not us!  :-)

10% Tuolmne County Room Tax is required.

Check in time is 3:00 p.m.

Check out time is 10:00 a.m.

We accept Cash, cashier checks, or personal checks if drawn off local bank (Merced Area) and not within 2 weeks of stay.  If you are out of our local town (Merced area), we ask for cashier checks or Paypal. 

You can check availaibilty on the calendar.  There might be another party wanting the same date, and as with all things; first come, first serve.

Signed rental agreement is required.

A $50 deposit is required to hold the dates.
