The Villa  ( one )  is build on a PARADISE of 5 acres  ( 20,000 sq/mts )  of land, with 100 yards/meters of private beach front;  Surrounded  with hundreds of coconut palms , sea grapes, pines,  flamboyances,  magueys,  and many more exotic plants.

            Facing the ocean we have a huge tiki bar (PALAPA) that comes complete. 
    With a bathroom, hammocks, chases loungers, tables and chairs, which is well light for night time recreation. Where you can fix your own favorite drink, eat, read or just relax, and enjoy the sound of the ocean.
  Next to the tiki bar you find the fresh water pool with a beautiful waterfall. Which is surrounded by coconuts trees, where you can see all the different birds pass by like  flamingos,  pelicans,  humming birds,  smokey birds, little pigeons,  woodpeckers and other indigenous wild life.  

   The pool, has varying depths, to be used by children must be under the supervicon of their parents please.    Thanks.

The  Villa come with 2 full big bedrooms with AIR CONDITIONING in each one. (at no extra charge).  Each bedroom with it own big closet and full nice bathroom.  With  PRESSURIZED  fresh water system.  Each bedroom has its own huge Palapa roof terrace with hammocks  where you can sit and enjoy a totally different sunset every afternoon. It is truly relaxing!  ( PARADISE ).  

The Villa is fully equipped, with hot and cool fresh water;  ( PRESSURIZED WATER SYSTEM )  REFRIGERATOR, gas stove with four burners & oven, water cooler with purified bottled of water (3), hair dryers, iron & boerd, spices,  microwave oven,  toaster,  coffee maker, electric fry pan,  blender,  silverware,  dishes,  cooking utensils,  ceiling fans, gas BAR B.Q. & charcoal B.B.Q. radio, CD,  TV (SKY Satelite TV over 100 channels from all over the world including CNN Fox ect. its the mexican equvilant of Direct TV),  DVD,  We recommend you bring your favorite DVDs, there is a local video rental store but their new releases are limited.

We also provide regular and beach towels and sheets, soap basic.  The house will be cleaned  ( weekly ), includingsheets and towels.

CARETAKER.(PEDRO) Can arrange fishing trips, or show you around,etc.  He lives at the entrance of the property, at 150 yards from the Villa, so if need assistance you don't have to wait for someone to show up and help. 

In PARADISE  ( Los Pelicanos )  We offer FAST WIRELESS INTERNET SERVICE,  !!!! AT YOUR REQUEST.....!   ( no  ext.  charge )  requires you to bring you´re own laptop with USB port to use with our 3G wireless modem.

Telchac is a very friendly fisherman village located 50 minutes from the capital city of the Yucatan which is Merida, the (WHITE CITY.)
You have the mayan ruins of Xcambo 15 minutes from the Villa where if your lucky you will be able to see thousands of green singing parrots.
Uxmal and ChichinItza ( one of the 7 wonders of the world ) 2 of the Yucatan's most impressive ruins are located just 2 hours away.Dzibichaltun ruins are 30 minutes away from Telchac. A few minutes from the house, you can take a wonderful tour where you will see cenotes, wild bird, flamingos, canadian ducks, camachos, pelicans, etc. It is a tour you wont forget. You should not miss it, it is beautiful.

In the marine port of Telchac Puerto you can rent boats to take you fishing at reasonable prices, also boats that take you for a scenic ride. Also you can find churches, bakeries, several restaurants (which serve typical sea food), shops, mini super stores where you can get every thing you need. Market place where you can get: meat, fruits, vegetables, Etc..

As you can see there are lots of things to do, and we can suggest a lot more of other options. There is also an internet cafe service in town.
The house is located 20 miles from Progreso, which is the most important Port in all  Yucatan.Here you can find supermarkets, a hospital, and a small shopping center with 4 movie, theaters and many handcraft stores also (Aurrera, Wallmart supermarket).  First class restaurants  are found at the Malecon, (the front beach main street of Progreso Port) where the Liners stop at this port every weeks.

There is an international airport in Merida, with direct flights from Atlanta, Houston and Miami. It can be cheaper to fly into Cancun, rent a car there and drive over about four hours. The Mayan pyramids of ChichinItzand interesting cenotes are on the route between Telchac Puerto and Cancun along with the Colonial City of Valladolid.
Having a car will make your stay much more enjoyable.

If you have a momentary longing for city life, Merida is just a 50 to 55 minute drive from The PARADISE. (Los Pelicanos)  There you can find many of the popular food and shopping chains, like: Costco, Home Depot, Wal-mart, Sams Club, McDonalds, Chilies, Fridays, Burger King and the most popular regional restaurants. (Los Almendros, Panchos, La Tratto , La Parrilla, etc..)

In the squares of Paseo de Montejo Avenue you can experience the wonderful sights, tour on the tourist bus (two floors bus) which will show you the most important side of the colonial city, also Merida has a very exciting night live, like theaters, movies, discos, and international bars.

Only the sounds of the ocean and the wind swishing the coconut fronds!Telchac Puerto is a charming village and we enjoyed many fish meals there. La Panaderia ( Bakery ) was delicious as well and very addicting! Your website does not do justice to the beautiful grounds and landscaping of Los Pelicanos. Thank you for sharing your home! We´ve travel lots of the Yucatan and Techac felt like home. This quiet peaceful place really grows on one's soul. We walked up and down the beach, and have to keep that memory and sound of the water, for safe keeping on those cool winter days when were at home.
We felt so safe and private in your home. Pedro is a great care-taker we wish we had a better understanding of the spanish language so we could of talked more with him and told him of our gratitude for his service and cleaning up when we were out. Maybe you could pass that on for us. I have a saying that i like to say and that's " Don't fix something that's not broken " that goes for your PARADISE Don't change a thing.
