2 Bedroom / 2 bath /1 car oversized garage.  Fully furnished and ready to move in - located right on the Homosassa River.  King sized bed in master and queen size in guest bedroom with queen size sleeper sofa in living room.  61' TV with satelite and dvd player.  Internet provided.  If you are bringing your boat we have a Pontoon boat lift along with floating dock for your use.  

Fully equipped kitchen with range, oven, microwave, side by side refrigerator with icemaker and full size washer and dryer.

No smoking allowed in the home

Peacefullness on the River

The description of the property was very accurate. It was very clean, the beds were very comfortable (we slept in the master king-size, but I had taken a nap on top of the 2nd bed), and very full of light. Regarding the kitchen, I, especially, loved the small, but filled with many well-stocked cabinets area. 3 windows letting in light, with a view to the river and the canal out to the side of the house. The property manager was readily available by phone for practical questions like using the heater, and where to put out the garbage. It was a quiet neighborhood, with one exception--a new HUGE restaurant about a block away on the river, blares music some afternoons and into the evenings. Couldn't figure out the schedule, but we had to close the doors and turn on the TV in order to not hear it. It is not loud 'rock and roll', but loud--seems a bit of disturbing the peace to me . . . it won't stop us from renting there again. The wonderful view is just what the pictures show: non-stop water, sky, and palm trees. It was just beautiful there! If you are a fishing person you will love the access on the very well planned deck/dock, and also if you just want to sit and soak up the sun and beauty--I spent time going from binoculars to my books. Great to sit out on the dock chairs and enjoy the breeze off the water. We had many visitors: egrets, herons, ducks, pelicans, seagulls, dolphins and, of course, several manatees. They like to munch on the moss on the adjacent dock. We will be back. -db

This place was a dream come true - we enjoyed the birds and had manatee and dolphin come right up to the dock. The house was clean and well stocked - the beds are very comfortable and the big screen TV was an added bonus. We rented kayaks and went to the springs which is very close - saw more manatee and had a great time! Neighbors are great and everyone was so helpful - shopping and restaurants are all close by. We will be back!

Recommended for: adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, pet-friendly, sight seeing, romantic getaway
