Reminiscent of a southern Mediterranean village, Las Gaviotas is a pristine, picturesque, and secure oceanfront development nestled along the breathtaking Baja coast. White plaster homes with brilliant colored tile and red clay roofs are strategically terraced along cobblestone streets directly overlooking the ocean.

Imagine lying in a king-size bed next to a cozy fireplace where you can see and hear the nearby ocean. Our home provides exquisite views of sunsets and full moons from multiple vantage points including the spacious living room, dining room, kitchen, patio, guest bedroom, and master suite.

We love to rent to families.  The maximum number of adults at this house is 12 however if you have children under 1 years old they do not count towards one of the 12 allowed in the house. Please call us if you would like to discuss.  

 The house is ideal for elderly or handicapped guests because there is easy access into the home.  Elderly guests only need to walk up 3 steps from the street to the main level.  We have three bedrooms and a bathroom downstairs.  There are three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a spacious living room, dining room and kitchen area on the main floor. 

 The top floor has a patio, living room, kitchen, dining room and 3 bedrooms.
* KITCHEN: Our kitchen countertop is terracotta Mexican Tile.  Fully-equipped with modern appliances. Full oven and stovetop, microwave, double sink, large refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, toaster oven, coffee maker, blender, mixer, electric can opener, cutlery, crockery, pots and pans.   
* LIVING ROOM: Vaulted ceilings with skylights.  It has a 3 seat leather sofa and two leather rocking chairs, a 27” TV with DVD/CD player, ceiling fan and a fireplace. The sliding glass doors open up to the balcony and the ocean. 
* BALCONY: A patio table with six chairs.  You can check out the surf from here. 
* DINING ROOM: One formal table that has 8 chairs with window seats that sits besides our 5 foot by 10 foot window that overlooks the ocean and a ceiling fan. 

* BATHROOM: One sink vanity, toilet and shower stall with Mexican tile on the floor and walls.

* MASTER BEDROOM : Fan, Cable TV KING-SIZED bed, armoire dresser, two nightstands, fan, cable TV (20" TV), mirrored closet and fireplace.  Separate sink in the bedroom.   
* MASTER Bathroom:  Two sink vanity, toilet and shower stall with Mexican tile on the floor and walls.

* BEDROOM #2 KING-SIZED bed, ceiling fan, dresser and two nightstands

* BEDROOM #3: QUEEN-SIZED bed, ceiling fan, night stand and mirrored closet.

 The bottom floor has 3 bedrooms and a bathroom.

 * BEDROOM #4: Bunk Bed with full on the bottom and single on the top, a Twin bed, Ceiling Fan, Cable TV (20" TV), mirrored closet and sink.

* BEDROOM #5: QUEEN-SIZED bed, Ceiling fan, Cable TV (20" TV), 2 end tables, mirrored closet and sink.

* BATHROOM: Tiled shower stall, toilet and dual vanity sink.   
* BEDROOM #6:  QUEEN-SIZED Bed, Twin Bed, Ceiling fan, Cable TV (13" TV) and dresser.
* BATHROM with tiled overhead shower stall, dual vanity sink and toilet.
* MISCELLANEOUS: Towels, bed linen, and some pool towels provided.
* FREE HIGH SPEED INTERNET
*1 CAR GARAGE with automatic door.  Washer/dryer in the garage.  You are allowed to have 3 cars in the Las Gaviotas complex.
The private beach, oceanfront pool, soothing jacuzzi, tennis, and volleyball courts are just a few yards from our door. Explore the tidal pools, lie on the sand beach, relax at the pool, fish from the jetty, or hit the surf with your friends. Due to the mild climate, the possibilities for relaxation and enjoyment are endless all year round

Guest: Charlie(Salt Lake City, UT USA) - Review Submitted: 10/06/10  - Let me start with my first conversation with the owner. He was sincere in trying to make our stay a wonderful enjoyable one. He was flexible enough to provide the option of multiple locations allowing us to chose the place that suited my family. He recommended this location because it would be more suited for my son and it did fit us. My son loved the open floor plan, running, hiding, and plenty of places to play with his trucks/cars. The kitchen was fully stocked and made it easy to whip up meals throughout the week (also used the grill twice). The central location of the house in the resort made it easy for us to hit the playground or stroll to the pool. The staff at Las Gaviotas was always cordial and made us feel safe. Other guests at the resort were very nice and always spoke as we strolled through the streets. The resort beach is small but Rosarito is very close and you can walk for miles on that beach. The owners tips on shopping/dining/etc was very helpful. We now the area but still referenced their recommendations (great restaurants - in Puerto Nuevo and in Rosarito). We also took a drive down to Ensenada (have friends there). This town has wonderful restaurants and neat shopping. This rental experience was perfect and this property provided a home to relax in. Thank you to the owners for making our vacation unforgettable and easy. We will definitely return in the future.

The location of the property is super close the the beach, the pool, and all of the other amenities Gaviotas has to offer. It has a great view of the ocean and worked great for our purposes. I'd definitely recommend Circa del Mar to anyone with a large group.

Invited 6 adult couples to join and we all enjoyed a perfect weekend. Our group made a trip into Puerto Nuevo for a fabulous lobster dinner on Saturday night and found ourselves sitting on a patio overlooking the ocean while enjoying a fantastic spread of seafood with all the fixings. The margaritas and Dos Equis lagers were flowing to say the least! The house is perfectly set up to make all guests comfortable. I will eventually organize a trip with our kids and other families as the house would be perfect to accommodate three families of four. Thank you Rob and Virginia for being such amazing hosts!

The house is plenty roomy and I loved that the kitchen was so open to the living area. The Bayers make their place very affordable...especially with a free night at the end of it. Even though the house isn't right on the water, you still have a beautiful, elevated view of the water. We would watch the surfers while we sat at the table for breakfast each morning :) The other people in the community were very friendly the whole time we were there. I would definitely recommend staying here. We're already planning when can get back there!

Upon our arrival we were greeted with a beautiful garden. As we entered the house, we were impressed by how clean and maintained the house was. It was very spacious and the views from the house were impressive. We loved the large dining table and the built in bar. The downstairs bedrooms were great for the kids. The photos and description of the house were spot on which was great. I have stayed in Las Gaviotas before and this house was a dream. Everything was very close by, Puerto Nuevo, shopping, eating and we even went wine tasting and "La Bufadora" outside of Ensanada. We also enjoyed the fresh fish that was caught in the morning by local fisherman. The pool was great for the kids and very close to the house. Lastly, I would like to add how wonderful the owners are and what great communication they have. They were a pleasure to deal with. We can't wait to return in the very near future!

This house is AMAZING! Whether you are looking for a fun and relaxing family getaway, or an adults only trip... this is the place. I stayed at the property from July 24-July 27th for a bachelorette weekend with 8 other women. The weekend couldn't have been more perfect. The Bayers are
great hosts. They not only provided us with a beautiful house for the weekend, but also made sure that we had all of the information we needed to get down to Las Gaviotas safely. Any initial concerns we had with traveling from San Diego down to the house were eliminated instantly.
