We visited a month ago, and the kids already want to know when we can go back. This is a great vacation place for families and our 6 boys, ages 5-23, found plenty to do to keep them busy and happy. From the indoor pool to the outdoor pool, to the beach, it was great to have options in one location without a "party crowd" atmosphere. The rooms were great and there was room for all of us. Loved having a full, ready to go kitchen.....made meal prep easy. Plenty of shopping and things to do nearby. A trip to the fort or the aquarium provided plenty to do without a big drive. Can't wait to go back!

Sands Villas Room 113

We had a fantastic experience at the Sands Villas. The condo was very clean, and although we were on the first floor, we still had a nice view of the ocean. Our family spent the majority of our time at the pool, which was thoroughly enjoyable, as there was a pagoda to lay under when the sun became to hot. The beach was very clean as well, and we were pleased to find that we were able to see our feet in the ocean, even when the water was up to our chest.

There are many great restaurants nearby. Amos Mosquitos is less than a mile away, and accross the bridge in Morehead City, there is Raps and of course the "famous" Sanitary.

On one of the hottest days we opted out of laying out, and drove a couple miles into the heart of Fort Macon, and toured the grounds. We then went antique shopping at many stores in Historic Beaufort.

I would recommend this location for anyone who wants to have a relaxing and enjoyable vacation with family and friends.

Recommended for: families with young children, people with disabilities, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sight seeing, tourists without a car, romantic getaway
