For the price, the cabin was fair. As stated before, much smaller than what the pictures present. It was comfortable for 2, but wasnt as large as we had thought - but only blame ourselves as we had been told by previous reviewers. Again as stated before, water smelled HORRIBLE. Majority of the time, the water throughout the cabin smelled of rotten eggs and we would not drink it nor use it for food. After letting it run for awhile, it would seem to somewhat go away. Nothing is noted about the shower and I can now see why. VERY small 1 person shower - would have liked to know about that before the trip. The hot tub was okay. One side of the hot tub jets seemed to barely work, the other side was very "weak". On top of that there was no chemical dispenser floating in the hot tub, which the hot tub papers said that there would be. On our last night after hiking we decided to TRY to use the jacuzzi.. and couldnt. First the water turned cold before the jacuzzi even filled up and when it did we noticed that the majority of jets didnt do anything at all. So we were unable to use this even when it was one of our necessities when choosing the cabin. Grill that is in the picture is not the one that is at the cabin. Instead there is just a "park-style" grill, which worked fine but I dont like using them. Drive way is very hard to maneuver. I thought about calling about the water.. hot tub .. jacuzzi.. etc but when I go on vacation for a reason, so that I dont have to deal with problems. Had it been something like no heat/ac, no electricity, I would have called. But I did not want to waste my time calling multiple times for multiple problems. If you have already reserved this cabin I would contact and make sure they have fixed these problems. On the plus side the deck and view are much better than I expected, but that alone did not make this cabin one that I would return to. I do not think I would rent from ITrip (cabin company/owners) again.

Senior Couple Needing a Break

This cabin is outstanding! We so enjoyed the quite, relaxing and comfortable beauty of the place. It is so private and what you see in the photo's is exactly what it is. I have shared the beautiful pictures with our family and friends and they too are planning to visit this cabin. If you are looking for a place that in not in the heart of the shops but yet close enough (only a couple of miles) to get there without having to take a lunch with you!!! I love it and plan on visiting again. Thank you so much for everything you did for us Alan and we will see you again very soon.

Recommended for: age 55+, people with disabilities, romantic getaway

We visited Cozy Cottage for a long weekend on my son's 3 year birthday weekend. We were in love at first sight! The cabin was super clean, the view was amazing, and it had everything we needed for a mountain get-away. We had lots of activities planned in Pigeon Forge, however, we had trouble leaving the cabin!:) The best part is how kid friendly this cabin is. My son slept great on the fold out couch, and there were no stairs to worry about him falling down. Plus, it was so private! My husband inagreed that this will be our mountain cabin for years to come!:) it is a must-stay cabin for sure!:)
