Beautiful Contemporary Log Cabin-Spectacular Views

Review submitted: July 16, 2013   Date of arrival: July 2, 2013

My parents booked the Willow Park Lodge for our first visit to Alaska (4 adults and 1 teenager). We had no idea what to expect upon arrival. As a Realtor, I knew that pictures can be deceiving, but this property far exceeded our expectations!! Gorgeous views of ponds, mountains, and wildlife. The owner hung beautiful hanging baskets of flowers all around the property. There was even an orchid on the dining table. The property was very clean and felt brand new. It had an excellent floor plan. Comfortable reclining couches in the family room. It was so nice to have a stocked kitchen with dishes, a wine opener, cutting board, steak knives. There was even sugar in the cupboard for your coffee and ketchup in the refrigerator! In house laundry was nice even though we didn’t use it. The water pressure was excellent in the showers and the bath towels were nice. It was good to find soap at every sink, shampoo in the showers, and yes… A+ toilet paper. We were cooking up some steaks on the outside grill when Larry stopped by to make sure our stay was comfortable. He even offered his canoe & life vests. If it weren't for the mosquitoes (terrible this year in Alaska) he would have followed the Loon around the large pond for hours!! We would highly recommend this rental property. It was an excellent spot to call home base! We traveled to Denali National Park one day, visited the Independence Gold Mine another, ate & shopped a little in Wasilla, visited the Mat-Su Glacier and Musk-ox farm in Palmer before traveling back to Anchorage for part two of our vacation.

Far Exceeds Expectations

Review submitted: July 9, 2013   Date of arrival: June 22, 2013

I had the responsibility of booking lodging for a church mission team of 9 people (including children and seniors) to live and work together for a week. Larry was so helpful answering all of my questions before we booked the Lodge and until we arrived. I was nervous, since I usually make reservations for my family only. When we arrived at the Lodge, it was absolutely gorgeous (and easy to find from the highway). We occupied both units. I believe a key to the success of our trip was our comfort with the Lodge. It was truly home -- peaceful, restful, clean, well-equipped. I expected a degree of rustic-ness to the Lodge itself, but it was beautiful and modern. Larry bent over backward to help with anything we needed, especially setting up the rooms for our configuration of families, singles, and couples. If we're ever in Willow again, we will stay at Willow Park Lodge.

Exceptional & Beautiful Willow Alaska Rental

Review submitted: June 10, 2013   Date of arrival: September 4, 2012

This Log Cabin is basically brand new and as comfortable as one would ever want to have for its size. The upstairs bedroom was lovely and has a great view. All facilities and appliances work well and are virtually new. The location is about 30 minutes to the main city. A great place to hang out or use for a base for your Alaska adventure. On the mail highway for easy access everywhere. Hosts are wonderful people and we enjoyed our stay immensely. Book this place and you'll do just fine.
