Mystic mountain is unique in that from inside the home you will feel like you are on the water without ever having to step foot out the door -sit back and enjoy watching the mountain change through a palette of colors as the sun rises and sets. Once is all it takes and you will be hooked! Our Lindal style cedar home has large exposed wooden beams, tongue n grove hardwood ceilings and flooring, and granite counter tops in kitchen and bathrooms. The home has been updated with all new stainless steel appliances in the kitchen and new furniture throughout. Come and play in the expansive game room on a beautiful new competition billiard table and challenging ping pong table all while enjoying the spectacular wide water mountain views from every window. Also for your entertainment there is a widescreen TV with theater speakers and a DVD player where you can watch your favorite movies and listen to your favorite CD’S and radio station with a state of the art audio system. Directly outside of the game room is a brand new 6 person hot tub where you can soak your worries away while enjoying the memorable view. Both the Living/Great Room have a gorgeous see through stone fireplace with gas log insert  that adds a warm ambiance for those chilly nights. The Great Room has a beautiful bright sunny interior with vaulted ceilings and a wall of windows that make for a panoramic breathtaking wide water view ofSmith Mountain. Adding to the charm of the great room is a 3 story custom built solid oak spiral staircase that provides access to every floor. When you are preparing your breakfast lunch or dinner, in a state of the art kitchen with double oven, Jen Air Cook top and under the counter beverage refrigerator, you will enjoy the 180 degree view of the mountains and water. You will delight in the 800 square foot master suite with exposed beams, stone fireplace with gas log insert, built in Jacuzzi tub, his/her showers, sitting area and spectacular view of the water and mountains from your bed. On a clear moon lit night the moonbeams will shine through the skylights allowing them to dance across your bed. All three bedrooms have brand new plush king mattresses for your ultimate sleeping comfort. Other bedroom and extra kitchen are in the guest log cabin.

Our expansive wrap around deck provides for a serene atmosphere where you can view the mountains in relaxing Adirondack chairs or enjoy a meal on our comfortable patio dining set.

Only steps away you can access and relax on the over sized upper-level deck, tie up your boat or jet skis to the floating dock or go for a swim. Mystic Mountain is one of very few houses on the lake that has a sandy walk in beach perfect for small children, dogs and grandparents. There is 175 feet of shoreline on the property. The peninsula forms a protective quiet bay with relatively little or no boat traffic which makes for great kayaking, fishing, boating, swimming etc. due to the calm water conditions. 

Mystic mountain is less than 2 miles away from Smith Mountain Lake State park which has endless miles of hiking trails, boat launch and recreational entertainment throughout the year . Due to our prime location we are close to all area attractions including several golf courses and only minutes from the local airport.
