Vacation Rental Description

The Flathead Lake Reunion Home is located in Northwestern Montana on
the westshore of beautiful Flathead Lake, about an hour south of
Glacier Park, thirty miles south of Kalispell and twenty three miles
north of Polson. This five thousand square foot home has five bedrooms
and five and a half bathrooms on three levels. The upper level has
three bedrooms, all with private baths. One bedroom has a king bed,
another a queen bed, and the third has two queen beds. In the library
on the third level is a queen futon. The middle level has one bedroom
with a king bed and private bath, the kitchen, living room with a
queen sofa bed, a business nook, and an entry way bath. The lower
level has one bedroom with two queens and a queen futon, with bath
adjacent. Also on the lower level is a great room with a queen sofa
sleeper. All beds and mattresses were new in 2002. On the middle floor
is a large dinning room table that seats ten, a round oak table in a
bow window that seats four, and a kitchen counter that will seat eight
or more. All of the furniture, except for the antiques, was new in
2002. The kitchen has a new fridge and stove.
  The home sits on 46 acres shaped like an "L", with the house on one
end of the L and the dock and lakefront at the other end. It is a
short drive or a fifteen minutes walk to the dock from the house. 

Vacation Rental Amenities

There are five decks to look at the spectacular view of the small town
of Dayton, Chief Cliff (a buffalo jump in the past), Wildhorse Island,
Cromwell Island, and the Mission Mountains. There are two TV sets with
Direct TV, a stero with CD player, two barbaques, one gas, the other
charcoal, three picnic tables at the house, and a garage, plus all the
kitchen gadgets, including microwave, coffee makers, toasters, etc.
All linens and towels are included. At the dock is a canopy and a
porta potty. And now, the Flathead Lake Reunion Home is AIR 
CONDITIONED!!!!!Now with WIFI!!!

Activities and Attractions

Hiking, fishing, boating, sailing, swimming, shopping. You are thirty
miles from Bigfork and thirty miles from Kalispell. It is about an
hour to Glacier Park. There are four wilderness areas in Western
Montana, all within a short drive. The National Bison Reserve is a
short drive to the south.

Vacation Rental Rates

The rates are as follows: For the prime summer weeks, those weeks in 
July and August, the rate is $4300 per
week. Weeks in June, September, and October are $3500 a week. This is
for a maximum of 22 guests; more than that will be extra. Half the 
weekly
rate must be paid in advance and is not refundable unless I can rent
the week to another party, in which case you will be charged only $200
and will be refunded the rest. The other half of the weekly rate must 
be paid on or before the first of Feb. After the first of Feb., you 
must pay the total weekly rental fee upfront. Again, after the first 
of Feb., if you decide to cancel your reservation, you will be given 
all your money back except for $200 if, and I repeat, if I can rent 
the week you have booked to another party. A cleaning fee of $260, 
Montana State
Bed Tax of seven percent of the weekly rate, and a security/damage
deposit of $1000 must be paid when you check in with cash or cashier's
check, not personal check or credit card, cash only. The
security/damage deposit will be refunded if the house is left in good
shape, "motel clean", and  nothing is broken, within a month.
