activities and attractions in Brooklyn New York City
Great neighborhood, steps away DeKalb Avenue with a myriad of bars, restaurants and other shopping facilities.
You can find everything you need in Fort Greene, from the Crunch gym club to excellent restaurants (among our favorites are: Cafe Lafayette, Chez Loulou, Veliis, Habana Outpost, Sushi D), and bars such as Moe’s and Frank’s. If you feel like getting some fresh air, you can enjoy a promenade or get active in the scenic Fort Greene Park with its 4 outdoor tennis courts. Every Saturday morning is the farmer’s market down the stairs on your block!
For those rainier days, why not catch a movie at the Brooklyn Academy of Music, where there is a great independent movie theater. It is located only a few blocks from the apartment!
