This large affordable stacked duplex is centrally located on Elizabeth Street, with ocean views from both levels and stairs to the beach just across the street. Rent one unit or both depending on the size of your party. Great for small families, large families, reunions, birthdays, weddings, or just a simple getaway for two with the dog! ONLINE RESERVATIONS available directly from our website.
Each unit has two bedrooms, one bath, living/dining room, a fully equipped kitchen, and laundry facilities. The bedrooms have queen beds with colorful bed linens and there are new towels in the bathrooms. Additional beds in the living room of the Upper Retreat include a double futon and single bed roll-away. The Lower Retreat has a double sleeper couch in the living room and an extra double futon in one of the bedrooms.
The differences between the two units, which are similar in square footage: the Upper Retreat has a large deck, vaulted ceilings, additional side windows in the living and dining area, carpeting, and a combination tub/shower; the Lower Retreat has an electric fireplace, linoleum tile flooring, large bathroom with shower, fenced patio with a barbeque, door into the back yard, and pets are welcomed (fenced back yard, dog beds, and pooper-scooper provided).

The amenities in both units include: full bedding for all beds; bath towels; Satellite
tv; vcr; dvd player; cd player; full-sized refrigerator, kitchen range, microwave, coffee and hot
pots, coffee grinder, toaster oven, dish washer, dishes and cookware; washer/dryer; and barbeque
(Lower Retreat). In addition, there are games, puzzles, videos, DVDs, and books for your use. If
you have brought your laptop on your vacation, there is wireless Internet in the units due to all
the hotel hubs in the area!

From the Beach Retreat you can watch the winter storms or summer waves curling over the sand, with
chances of whale sightings throughout the year. Other nearby water activities are surfing,
crabbing, fishing, beach-combing, boating, and kayaking. Or hike and bike our surrounding coastal
forest where the great pines grow down to the ocean edges.
Beach Retreat is in the heart of Newport's many attractions, just around the corner from the
Performing Arts Center and the Nye Beach Historic District and minutes away from wine-tasting, the
Newport Aquarium, the OSU Marine Science Center, and the Rogue Brewery. There are great restaurants
and shopping within walking distance, but don't miss the famous Newport Bayfront on the Yaquina
River, only a five minute drive from your front door.

Low Season (October-May)- $110 - $145/night per unit; $270/night for both
High Season (June-September) and Holidays/Festivals - $120 - $155/night per unit; $290/night for both
Each unit sleeps 7-8 people - can accommodate total of 15
10 1/2% city/state tax added
$275 advance payment required at time of reservation per unit.
$50 cleaning fee per unit is added to rent, regardless of length of stay. Balance of payment due 21 days before arrival.
Pets are welcomed for no extra fee in downstairs unit.
