Wonderful Home - Oustanding Views

Review submitted: August 13, 2013   Date of arrival: August 2, 2013

We recently stayed at this wonderful home with our family of six and the property is exactly as advertised. It is clean and well maintained and unlike many rental homes, this one feels like you are living in someone's home. The owners do lots of little things to make you feel comfortable right down to a complementary loaf of SF sour dough bread on arrival. The house keeps many of the things that a home would have (spices, jams, coffee and tea) which makes cooking very convenient. The complementary glass bottles of Organic milk and cream complete the "Farm house feel". The property is on a hill overlooking the city on a quiet dead end street and so the opportunity to sit in the garden with a coffee or glass of wind and enjoy the view is outstanding.

The house is conveniently located half way between the airport and downtown and about 5 minutes from the 101 so sightseeing is easy. If you are inclined to take the transit, the bus to the BART is just steps away.

We were very pleased with our rental. We had lots of room to relax with our family and used this as a base for a great week in the Bay Area.

Loved this place

Review submitted: June 17, 2013   Date of arrival: June 8, 2013

We stayed here for a week in June/2013. It was wonderful. The pictures were true to reality, it was clean and orderly, and we were well taken care of. It's an old place, as in built in the early 1900's, so it's quaint but met our needs very well. There were 5 of us. The kitchen was clean and up to date. There was fresh fruit waiting for us and basics in the fridge, like milk, eggs, and butter, and a yummy loaf of cinnamon bread on the counter.
It's up on a hill, has a great view of SF, and Bernal hill is right behind it for a stroll. The bus system comes close to the property, and we rode the bus to Fisherman's warf and Golden Gate park. It was easier than finding parking.
We also had some fun at the beach by Great Highway.
I would recommend this place for a couple, 2 couples, and families with kids. We loved it.

Recommended for: adventure seekers, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sight seeing, tourists without a car, romantic getaway
