Duxbury Point Manor 
 
This enchanting 1930's Manor overlooking the broad waters of  
Leadenham Bay, has a pool and a dock (with a covered boat house).   
Surrounded by tall, shady trees and wonderfully landscaped gardens,  
this “Lady of the Bay” home as we call it, offers privacy and comfort  
with incredible style. 
 
With 5 bedrooms (all en suite), a formal living room, dining room,  
large eat in farmhouse kitchen and a wonderful screened-in porch,  
along with an outside deck, this home exudes  all the warmth and  
comfort of an English country house  - it is not easy to leave  
Duxbury!! 
 
The pool is down at the water’s edge – float around and watch the  
osprey diving for their prey and blue heron picking and feeding in  
the shallows of the creek.  Directly across the creek is the 900-acre  
Jean DuPont Audubon sanctuary where numerous songbirds, waterfowl and  
wildlife make their homes. A large deck off the house overlooking the  
water is the ideal place to entertain in the evenings while watching  
the sunset. Grill that rockfish on the BBQ or enjoy a steamed  
Maryland crab feast (all caught from your dock).   
 
And yet 7 minutes down the road, one can enjoy fine dining in the  
historic village of St Michaels, interesting eclectic shops, sailboat  
cruises,  or spend some time at the famous Chesapeake Bay Maritime

Vacation Rental Amenities

Just bring yourselves.  Fully equipped kitchen, linens provided, pool  
and gardens maintained by professional staff.  Dock has a covered  
boathouse and 18 ft floating dock.  10 hours of housekeeping services  
included in weekly rate

Activities and Attractions

Canoes, kayaks and small boats can be rented – delivered to your own  
dock.  A day sail or evening sunset cruise on a working skipjack can  
be arranged.  Go biking or spend a day on one of our 5 golf courses  
in the area.  Take the ferry from Bellevue to Oxford, a picture  
perfect village on the banks of the Tred Avon River.  The famous  
village of St Michaels is just minutes away with great eclectic  
shops, fine dining restaurants and casual seafood on the water style  
restaurants.  The Chesapeake Bay Museum is a must with wonderful  
sailing programmes for the young at heart!  Tilghman Island should be  
on your “to visit” list, here the watermen have crabbed and oystered  
for years. Let us arrange for your own private chef for one of your  
evenings or hire in one of our professional massage therapists for a  
relaxing hour at the water’s edge.
