The Grapeview Beach House sits on 1/2 acre with 100 feet of no-bank
waterfront. The home is nestled on Case Inlet, next to Treasure
Island and Stretch Island in Grapeview, WA. The drive from the
Seattle metropolitan area is wonderful, but boating in is
SPECTACULAR! If arriving by boat, visitors will enjoy some of the
most pristine natural surroundings found anywhere on the water of
Puget Sound. Just around the point is Fairharbor Marina, one of the
nicest marinas on Puget Sound.
The beach is accessible from the lawn via a stairway in the
bulkhead. The beach in front of the property is owned by the
Mazanti's and guests are welcome to dig clams and collect a few
oysters for dinner. At low tide it is interesting to explore the
entire area by foot as residents don't mind people walking on
adjacent property as long as they are only sightseeing. There is a
large geoduck farm in front of the property that can be viewed at
low tide as this is one of the few places in the world that these
large clams are grown commercially.
The home is 1800 sq. ft and newly remodeled. The Beach House
features 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, great room, family room loft with
sitting areas, 2-story wood burning stone fireplace, 2 TV's with
DVD/VCR, stereo system, modern kitchen, full laundry facility, 2
queen-sized sofa sleepers and views of the water from every room.
The home is set-up to sleep 8 people in beds and has dining and
gathering facilities for large groups. Outside you will find a 1000
sq. ft. deck area with beautiful lawn surrounding the home. There
is a fire pit overloooking the water with Adirondack chairs to relax
and enjoy the solitude. The propane BBQ is on the deck and there is
plenty of wood for indoor or outdoor fires. After a swim or a day
of diving, enjoy an outdoor shower.

activities and attractions in Hood Canal Washington
Next door is located the only active winery in Grapeview. It was
started about 3 years ago and is in the process of becoming a
local attraction with tours and sampling in the future. Across on
Stretch Island is located the Maritime museum operated by Bill
Somers who is one of the original residents of the area. The museum
is open on weekends or by appointment and has many artifacts loaned
by the Seattle Museum of History and Industry. It is also the
original location of the Isle Belle Winery which dates back 75 years.
A walk or bike is the best way to explore Grapeview. The Fair Harbor
Marina has a store open in season and has a wonderful barista on
duty. There are two nearby islands to explore, Stretch and
Treasure. Allyn offers everything from Kayak trips to chainsaw wood
carving artists and boasts one of the best 27-hole golf courses in
the area located on the hill above in Lakeland Village.
The water is by far the reason to come to the beach. The property
has a 270 degree view of Case Inlet and is a great jumping off point
for boat exploration during the day. Whether you have a kayak or a
powerboat, there are a number of Washington State Parks and secured
waterways to explore. Lunch in Olympia by boat, watching the eagles
from the deck, clams for dinner or just hanging out...there is
everything at The Beach for the perfect vacation.
