Vacation Rental Description

Enjoy the beautiful Adirondack Mountains in upstate New York while 
staying in a beautiful 4-bedroom  cedar contemporary chalet.  This 
secluded home is set on a mountain with a 400' private driveway and 
located only 6 miles from Lake George Village.  There are 
magnificant mountain views and sunsets from the great room's all 
glass prow front and from the 900 sq. ft cedar deck.  Take a short 
walk to a private lake with a 150' sandy beach w/raft for sunning 
and swimming and a dock for fishing - a delight for the entire 
family! Canoe is available.
The mountain view from the master bedroom on the 2nd floor is as 
beautiful as it is from the great room.  This huge master bedroom 
w/king size sleigh bed has two walk-in closets as well as a full 
bath and two skylights. On the main level there are three bedrooms - 
one w/1 queen bed, one w/2 full beds, and one w/1 full bed, as well 
as a full bath.  There is a large country kitchen and dining area 
with 2 skylights. The kitchen has all the latest appliances, a lot 
of counterspace, as well as and island for food preparation, eating, 
or just conversation. The dining table is roomy enough to seat 10.   
The great room is large with a cathedral ceiling and a fieldstone 
fireplace. The chalet is decorated with an "Adirondack Flair" with 2 
sofas and 2 recliners.  Sit back and enjoy the beauty of the 
mountains, the  wildlife, or the widescreen TV!  You'll be minutes 
from the excitement of Lake George and Saratoga but be able to 
return to the peace and tranquility of your mountain retreat. 

Vacation Rental Amenities

Two story Adirondack chalet. Kitchen fully equipped with dishwasher, 
microwave, coffemaker, toaster oven, blender and service for 12.  
Great room has a widescreen TV with digital cable, VCR, and DVD.  
Large cedar deck has gas grill, outdoor furniture including a picnic 
table and Adirondack chairs for kicking back, relaxing, enjoying the 
mountain views or the starry evenings.  A firepit is also available 
for roasting marshmallows or singing those old campfire songs!  The 
chalet has central air conditioning, washer/dryer, iron and ironing 
board as well as a vacuum and cleaning supplies if needed.  Canoe is 
provided.  Numerous hiking trails and horseback riding trails are a 
minutes walk from the chalet.  

Activities and Attractions

Private association lake w/raft and 150'sandy beach for swimming and 
sunning, fishing, canoeing and waterside dining at the Heritage 
Restaurant overlooking the lake.  Eight minutes from Lake George 
Village - boat rentals, sightseeing and dinner cruises, para-
sailing, miniature golf, Great Escape Theme Park, Waterslide World, 
Magic Forest, Fort William Henry, and hot-air ballooning.  The 
chalet is located in "High Hat Country" - which features horseback 
riding minutes down the road and the Painted Pony Championship Rodeo 
around the corner. Nearby whitewater rafting, golf, numerous 
restaurants, a mall and shopping outlets, bowling, go-carting and 
skating.  Also the quaint town of Saratoga with flat and harness 
race tracks, shopping, restaurants, and Saratoga Performing Arts 
Center (NYC Ballet, Philharmonic Orchestra, and concerts).  Lake 
Placid 1 1/2 hrs. away with a tour of the Olympic Village and a ride 
in the bobsled.  Numerous hiking and mountain biking trails in area 
including Gore Mountain 40 minutes away with a breathtaking gondola 
ride!

Summer Rental Only - Weekly rate is Sat.- Sat.  July and August  $3,200
