vacation rental description
South Seas is simply beautiful. Our guests have been
very satisfied, and we'll be glad to share their comments.
Having visited numerous Bayside Villa condos, ours is the nicest
1BR, both in terms of furnishings and views. Thank You.
We believe South Seas and Captiva are very special places.
South Seas is at the northern tip of Captiva Island (15 minutes
from Sanibel by car). If you find the ends of places interesting,
unique, and enjoyable, then you're sure to enjoy your stay at
South Seas.
South Seas Captiva is like "Old Florida," brimming with
natural abundance, handholding romance (a lot sighing,
ooohing, and ahhhing goes on there), and all the activity a
world-renowned resort can offer.
Here's what you can expect from the resort and Captiva:
Distinctive and natural beauty with gorgeous flora and
fauna, and extraordinary bird (pelicans, great
herons, egrets) and sea life (manatees, dolphins)
An unrushed feeling of privacy and romance (the 2-mile long
Sunset Beach at South Seas was cited as the most
romantic beach in the nation by Travelocity and AOL)
Pristine beaches and gulf waters, featuring some of the
finest shelling and fishing in the world
Access to a range of dining and shopping facilities, from
quaint to elegant, in Captiva town and Sanibel.
A full-range of off-resort activities, including water sports and
cruises
The Bayside Villas pool and hot tub complex, arguably the
finest and most appealing at the resort
Here's what you can expect from the condominium:
A second floor unit with a screened lanai overlooking the
Bayside Marina, pool, and hot tub. The lanai is east-facing, a
much welcomed situation to avoid the directness of the
afternoon and early evening sun. Plus, the lanai is one of the
few in Bayside Villas that "wraps around," providing a panoramic
view of the pool/hot tub and marina. The second floor location is
special for the views it provides and for placing you directly above
the marina and the Pine Island Sound beyond.
Completely renovated, re-decorated, and well-appointed
throughout. All furnishings and appliances are recent. Large living
room with TV and a Queen pull-out sofa, a fully-equipped kitchen
with dining area, a large master bedroom with King-size bed and
TV, and two full baths.
Exceptional convenience to the marina and pool/hot tub
(1 minute walk), shopping and dining (3 minute walk), gulf
beaches (5 minute walk), and shopping and dining in quaint
Captiva village (15 minute walk).
Easy access elevator for carting "beachy" things and
groceries
*************
If you're looking for a vacation getaway in natural beauty
combined with the "artsy," quaint and truly unique feel of Captiva,
then you'll find our condominium special in its appeal.
We know you have a choice of where to stay on your vacation.
And we know how important that vacation is.
Thank you for considering our condominium. We're sure you'll
find us accommodating, considerate, and gracious hosts.
Sincerely,
Jim & Mary Ella Marra
