The Reed House is located in a quiet residential beach neighborhood, 2 ½ miles north of Historical Ponce Inlet and less than 5 miles south of the famous boardwalk in the heart of Daytona Beach!
One very unique feature of our location is that the house is situated on a section of beach designated as a “turtle nesting area”. This translates to: no motorized vehicles, no dogs or any other animals, very few tourists, and a perfect spot for family and friends to spend
a week of safe, peaceful and private fun in the sun! Who knows, you may even be one of the lucky few to witness a mother green turtle laboring across the sand to lay her eggs or hatchlings blindly making their way back down to the water to swim out to sea!
The Reed House has all the amenities necessary to provide our guests with the perfect
beach vacation.
The main house has 3 furnished bedrooms complete with ceiling fans, queen sized/double beds, adequate closet space and large windows with spectacular beach views. The 4th bedroom/bath is attached with a separate entrance.
The large open kitchen is equipped with nearly every conceivable appliance (both large and small). The Florida room/den includes a flat screeend tv with cable and a stereo system (with ipod adapter)The dining room with attached breakfast bar seats up to 12 in total and offers ocean views from all vantage points.Off the east entrance is our screened enclosure providing more than
enough patio furniture for lounging and /or dining in the refreshing ocean breezes while taking in the panoramic view of beach and ocean below.
Located directly off the screened room is our patio/deck and barbeque area. This is my favorite spot at the end of a day. Relax right above the sand dunes and ease back into one of the comfortable chaise lounges, peer through the sea oats that dot the natural landscape and enjoy the miles and
miles of white sandy beaches! After dinner head down our private beach access ramp and
enjoy a leisurely walk on the cool soft white sand.
Remember, you’re on vacation, this is all allowed!!

Loads of amenities!! We have cooking condiments, coffee and filters, all linens, towels (including beach towels), blow dryer, all cooking utensils, flatware service for 12, soap,(laundry and bath) etc . Rates: $1550-2700
Off season rates (August 15th-Jan 15th)
Special Events and some holidays: (Race week, Biketoberfest, Bike Week & BCR) up to $2700/wk.
Cleaning fee $135. May be higher for larger groups or extended stays.
Security Deposit: $500 (holds reservation)
