The Kauai Kai is located in Hale Koolau, a family owned & operated group of ocean & beach front vacation rental homes in Honolulu, Hawaii located in the fishing town of Hauula on Oahu's North Shore near the Polynesian Cultural Center, Turtle Bay, Kualoa Ranch, and many other wonderful Oahu attractions. We are located approximately 45 minutes from Honolulu
International Airport on the North East coast of Oahu; where the Koolau Mountains touch the Pacific Ocean. Our community of single family homes, small shops, and quaint restaurants is very different from the high rise retail/ tourist center of Waikiki. With hiking trails and unspoiled reefs, we offer a glimpse of the Oahu of yesteryear with convenient access to the night life and modern
pleasures of Honolulu & Waikiki.

The Kauai Kai "Sea of Kauai" is an air-conditioned, direct oceanside suite on the
North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii and offers impressive views from one end of Hauula bay to the other with the beautiful Koolau Mountains beyond. This is a spacious (750+ sf living area) one bedroom, one bath suite with plantation style lanai overlooking our tropical courtyard & the beautiful Pacific Ocean just 80 feet beyond. The Kauai Kai features a completely remodeled modern and open kitchen with granite countertops, a sealed top stove/range, microwave, side
by side fridge, and all the cooking utensils you need to prepare complete meals. The dining area, located on your private covered lanai, has a table/seating for four. The living area is richly decorated with warm tropical & plantation style furniture and enjoys direct ocean views. There is a queen size sleeper sofa in the living room. The bedroom area is furnished with an elegant and tropical teak and bamboo bedroom set and a King size bed. The recently remodeled bath features a full size bathtub, pedestal sink & travertine tile. The suite has air conditioning and tropical ceiling fans although it is rarely needed as this suite enjoys cool ocean breezes year around.

In addition to these amenities Hale Koolau offers complimentary high speed wi-fi internet access to all properites.

3 nights or more     $174.99

5 nights or more     $149.99

7 nights or more     $124.99

We charge a flat rate of $1,190.00 for reservations covering Christmas or New Year's Holiday.  This rate covers up to 7 nights.  Additional nights are billed at the normal nightly rate.  Christmas reservations must vacate by December 29 and New Years reservations cannot arrive earlier than December 29.  Reservations which include both Christmas and New Years are billed a flat rate of $2,380.00 and cover up to 14 nights.  Additional nights are billed at the normal rate.

TERMS:

All rates quoted are based upon two (2) person occupancy and are charged based upon the amount of nights you stay.

Absolute minimum requirement for booking a reservation is three (3) nights.

Minimum requirement for Christmas, New Year's, Thanksgiving, Easter and BYU Graduation (Spring) is 7 nights.

Minimum requirement for Memorial Day, Labor Day and Fourth of July is 5 nights.

Add $15.99 daily charge for each additional guest over two (2) person occupancy up to a maximum of four (4) people, including children over 1 year of age.

One (1) parking stall is provided per vacation home. Extra parking may be ordered through owner's secure online reservations system.

Add a $80.00 one-time cleaning fee to all reservations.
