Zettlers Lakefront Home is a charming, completely renovated, century
home (ca. 1892) on the southern shore of Kelleys Island. It's
waterfront location offers views of Marblehead Lighthouse, Cedar
Point rollercoasters, waterfowl, and boating activites from the
parlor, large front porch or deck on the water. A short walk leads
to downtown stores and restaurants.
Restored and furnished over the last 30 years by the Zettler family,
first as their family home and then as a B&B in the 90's, the
furnishings and decor reflect their love of antiques and artefacts
gathered from the 7 countries they lived in during their 20+ year
career in the US Foreign Service.
This is a fully equipped family home with large modern kitchen and
all appliances. There is a dining room, family room w. TV/VCR/DVD,
parlor and front room, all with lakeviews. Full bath on 1st floor
and 2 full baths plus 4 large bedrooms on 2nd floor, 2 with
lakeviews. Ample yard has gas BBQ and picnic table.

activities and attractions in Kelleys Island Ohio
Kelleys Island is in some ways like a miniature Martha's Vineyard.
KI measures only ca. 2x4 miles, 2800 acres, of which 600 + acres are
State Park, including the only sandy beach on the Island and acres
of abandoned quarries full of fossils. Several
websites give great detail on the history and geography of KI. Most
visitors enjoy biking, walking, fishing, swimming, etc. There is a
very large Village park for children of all ages. Shopping is
available for gifts, clothing, groceries, wine (the Zettler family
also established and operate Kelleys Island Wine Co., the only
winery left of the many that operated here until Prohibition). The
KI Wine Co. is also one of the several restaurants on KI offering a
variety of cousines and entertainment.
