Vacation Rental Description

At about a 200 feet walk from the cottage discover a truly unique 
beach, with beautiful white " singing sands ", wild dunes and 
numerous seabirds. After hours of sunshine, seawater, fresh air, 
enjoy the coziness and all the modern comfort of a new cottage 
nestled in the trees, with a back view overlooking green fields 
and a valley where flows a peaceful river.
This summer cottage rental in Prince Edward island includes 
two large bedrooms newly furnished, one with a Queen bed and 
the other with two twin beds. There is a sofa bed in the living 
room for extra guests. The pine cathedral 
ceiling, walls and floors create a warm ambiance; the kitchen 
next to the dining room is fully equipped with plenty of counter 
space. You can relax on a 24 foot deck with a screened in 
canopy.

A short drive away (5 to 15 minutes):

-a country store ( 1 km away) where you can find just about 
everything from food, to gas, videos for rent, a post office, 
newspapers, hardware, etc.;

-deep sea fishing in North Lake, a very picturesque little fishing 
port ;

-trout fishing ;

-bike rentals in Elmira near The Confederation Trail (Railway 
museum on site, gift shop and ice-cream bar) ;

-kayak and bike rentals in Souris ;

-golf at Rollo Bay Greens overlooking beautiful Rollo Bay ;

-visit East Point and its lighthouse, where the waters of the Gulf 
of St.-Lawrence and of the Northumberland Strait meet;

-visit Basin Head Fisheries Museum, its craft and gift shops, 
ice-cream bar, food stand and beautiful beach ;

-shop in Souris where you will find a shopping mall, liquor store, 
banks, grocery stores, restaurants, gas, a hospital, a community 
center, a library, a movie theatre, etc. and the terminus for les 
îles de la Madeleine.

-visit the Greenwich National Park near St. Peters and follow its 
boardwalk across marshland and dunes to unrivaled wild

-visit Anne’s Land ( read Lucy Maud Montgomery’s Anne of

from $550 CDN per week  +10% pst.  (4 guests; add  $50 each 
additional)

A deposit  of $300 CDN is required to reserve your stay at The 
Sands.
