Lighthouse Cottage is a freshly remodeled four bedroom, 1 bath cottage available throughout the summer season for weekly rentals (Saturday to Saturday) from June 1st through September 1st. Weekend rentals or nightly rentals are available during the offseason starting Labor Day until June 1st.
We are located in the heart of the City of South Haven in southwestern Michigan. Our cottage is walking distance to both the beach and shopping. Pets are welcome! Please inquire about our pet policy. This is a non-smoking residence, though there is a small patio area out back.

activities and attractions in South Haven Michigan
There is plenty to do in South Haven, including biking, hiking, fishing, horseback riding, swimming in the lake or simply lounging on the beach near the lighthouse. There is a great shopping district full of unique shops and antique stores to amazing restaurants and bakeries. Depending on the season, you may catch an outdoor art fair consisting of local and far away artists or a boat race down the Black River.
There is a marina where you can bring your own boat or charter a boat. Just outside the city limits you can find pottery barns, more antique shops, farms where you can pick your produce off the tree, quilt shops where you can buy or work on quilting, fudge and truffle shops and independent wineries that let you sample many of their signature wines or take tours of the vinyards.
And if you stay with us in the winter season, there is outdoor ice skating, cross country skiing and snowmobiling to go along with the year round shopping, wineries, quilt shoppes and pottery barns!
vacation rental rates
Summer Season: $1050 per week, plus 6% sales tax.
Winter Season: $150 per night, plus 6% sales tax
Only full week rentals are available during summer season. Winter season requires 2 night minimum and 3 night minimum for holiday weekends.
A payment of 50% is needed to book and secure your date. The remaining 50% is due 2 weeks prior to rental.
There is a seperate $350 security deposit required. The deposit is returned two weeks after your stay provided there is no damage created during your stay.
We accept Paypal, check or money order.
If you need to cancel, please inform us no later then 30 days prior to your stay. You will receive a refund less a $200 rebooking fee. If you do not give a 30 day cancellation notice then the amount paid will bev forfeited.
