Lovely centrally located bungalow in Sam Hughes Historical
Neighborhood. Just a short stroll to restaurants, markets, University
of Arizona, shopping, entertainment, parks and city transportation.
This home is located in an old and wonderfully friendly
neighborhood. In the middle of everything but very quiet. It was
built in 1950 and within the last year has been remodeled &
tastefully redecorated combining ethnic, antiques & contemporary
furnishings. Please inquire!
Vacation Rental Amenities
Telephones - 4, Cable TV - 2 in the living room and 1 bedroom (cable
hook ups thru out house), DVD player in living room, limited DVD
library, stereo/CD player, portable radio/C.D. player, fax (if
needed), full kitchen w/microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator,
stove/oven, toaster, blender, silver, cooking utensils, china, pots &
pans etc. Linens provided (bath & bed), hair dryer, washer/dryer,
iron/ironing board, ceiling fans, covered parking, BBQ grill,
evaporative cooling, gas heat, queen sofa sleeper in the living room
with a king, queen or double bed in the 3 bedrooms. Down comforters &
down pillows for all the beds. Porch/patio w/table & chairs,
and a chiminea (mexican outdoor fireplace) so you can enjoy our
beautiful weather & landscaping. Gardener is included. Computer/DSL
and maid service available at an additional cost. We have put
together a small shopping cart (amenities bar) just in case you may
have forgotten any items. There is a price list and you can take
care of these charges at the end of your stay. We've also stocked a
wine rack for your convenience. The price of each bottle is also on
the price list and can be taken care of at check out time as well.
And to make your stay perfect, if you would like to have us furnish
your refrigerator/cabinets, we offer a pre-arrival shopping service
based on cost/hourly rate. Coming in for any of the holidays? We
will be glad to supply decorations & set up at your direction on a
cost/hour rate basis, and we're good....really good at this. Above
all we want to make this stay as memorable as possible. If you need
anything just ask and we will do our best to accomodate you. Please
let us know at time of booking or as early as possible if you would
like any of these services. We are sorry but there is absolutely no
smoking in this home.

Just out your door and within a 5 minute walk or ride there is
biking, bike rentals, tennis, golf, racquetball, basketball, gym,
swimming, great shopping, cinemas, restaurants, Laffs Comedy Club,
public transportation, parks & playgrounds, public library, volley
ball court, public swimming pool, zoo. Within a 10-15 minute drive
you can enjoy horseback riding, miniature golf, art galleries,
museums, live theatre, opera, ballet, concerts, rock
climbing, gambling, bird watching and hiking. From 20 minutes to one
hour by car you'll find the Arizona-Sonoran Desert Museum, Old Tucson
Famous Movie Location, downhill snow skiing, fishing, wildlife
viewing, Colossal Caves, Kartchner Caverns, breathtaking Sabino
Canyon and Mt. Lemmon, the Tubac art community, the old mining town
of Bisbee and border shopping in Nogales, Mexico.
In 1.5-4.5 hours you can visit and enjoy Phoenix/Scottsdale, Sedona,
Lake Powell, Flagstaff, The Grand Canyon and the beach & fishing
resort of Puerto Penasco (Rocky Point), Mexico! Did you know that
there are great hiking trails surrounding the entire Tucson valley
and if you're a golf enthusiast, you already know that we have some
of the best golf courses in the world (private & public)! Etc, etc,
etc.... The list goes on and on. There is so much to see and do in

50% deposit due at time of booking. Any additional rental rates are
required to be paid 30 days prior to arrival. $150.00 Cleaning
Deposit is required at time of arrival (cash only). Any & all loss or
damage to this property or it's contents during your stay or any
excessive expense incurred in cleaning this property, over your
original deposit will automatically be charged to the credit card we
have on file for you. Any replacements or repairs will be handled
ONLY by management. Please report breakage or loss as it happens so
that we might take care of it immediately for your comfort &
convenience and that of others that may arrive after your departure.
As in any hotel where you are a guest, we require a valid credit card
at check-in which will be kept on file to cover any damage, loss
expenses or any additional cleaning costs above & beyond your $150.00
cleaning deposit.
Cancellation Policy: Prior to 60 days - 100% refund. 30 - 60 days -
100% less a $100.00 processing fee. Within 30 days of your stay - you
will be responsible for any loss in revenues for the period you have
reserved.
All rates above are for 6 people. Any additional persons will be
charged at an extra $15.00/person. Maximum occupancy - 8
DSL is also available at $2.00/day. Please let me know if you want
this service at the time of booking.
During the summer months, May thru September, there is a
$225.00/Month or $7.50/Day up-charge for the air-conditioning.
Tucson Gem & Mineral Show is our busiest 2 weeks of the year.
Therefore, there is a 20% up-charge & a 2 week (14 day) minimum stay
starting January 27 thru February 12. A 50% deposit is required at
time of reservation and totally refundable if canceled 91 days prior
to arrival less a $100.00 processing fee. 90 days prior to arrival,
the balance of your reservation is due & all monies become non-
refundable unless we can re-rent the property without any loss in
revenues. Should that be the case, we will be happy to refund the
difference less a $200.00 processing fee.
