Vacation Rental Description

A charming fun decorated home located within 3 or 4 miles of the
Volcano National Park and Volcano Village.  This is in a quiet
residential area and oriented towards conservation. Downstairs has a
sitting room with gas fireplace and kitchenette. Cat Room with queen
bed and Bears Room with two twin beds. A cosy and comfortable home
away from home.  The cool mountain air makes the flannel sheets a warm
treat.

Vacation Rental Amenities

Downstairs is a kitchenette and an honor fee laundry facilities. $1.50
per wash, per dry.
A covered carport for two cars and a sitting porch.  Weather can be
very cool.
Please no smoking or alcohol.

Activities and Attractions

Volcano National Park can take all your time, it is so facinating. 
Volcano Lodge has a great buffet breakfast overlooking Halemaumau 
crater. Two gift shops in the Lodge. There is a historical building 
with a local artists gallery.  Two museums. The first one has movies 
of the eruption. Drive around the crater.  Possible drive or hike to 
the current lava flow.

Volcano Winery. Tasting before you buy.....

Wonderful Orchid Nurery. Some smell like perfume and the most 
beautiful you have ever seen.

Volcano Golf Course. Has a good breakfast and lunch and a center 
circle fireplace.

Fun Hilo Town.  Fun funky new and old shops.  Check out Kuhio Grill 
in the back of that shopping center. Local food and one pound lau lau.

Macadamia nut farm.

A beautifully landscaped zoo.

Drive Banyan Drive and look what famous person planted different 
trees.

The morning fish action is fun to watch.

Drive the Keaau road to Kalapana.  See how the lava went around the 
last little Drive In restaurant.  The old ocean road is my favorite 
thing to do.

If you have the time........drive around th entire Island.
Stop at Honokaa Town and eat the famous Tex's Malasadas.....

Waimea town and tour Parker Ranch....the 2nd largest Ranch in the 
United States. King Ranch in Texas is the largest.  You will love 
Kona or Kailua town .........it is a 100 mile drive but wonderful.

Vacation Rental Rates

Rates are per room with discounts for more than one bedroom.
One night $125 plus taxes 11.25%  Total $139.06
Two or more nights $100 plus taxes Total $222.50.
Stay 6 nights and get the 7th free $600 plus tax. Total $667.50

Cat Room has a Queen bed. Private Half bath and lockable shared shower

Bears Room has two twin beds and private half bath and lockable shared
shower.

Heart Room has a Queen bed and private bath upstairs and an upstairs 
kitchenette.

2nd bedroom will be discounted half price.
Third bedroom will be discount 1/4 price.
