This rare 3-bedroom, 2-bath air-conditioned beachfront condo has one of the very best ocean views available on Hutchinson Island! (The "real" Hutchinson Island, not Fort Pierce's North Hutchinson Island.) Located on the 20th floor penthouse level of the "Princess" Condo in Jensen Beach, both main bedrooms and the living room have full-glass exposure to the ocean. (Yes, that is 15 floor-to-ceiling glass windows/doors all facing the beach!) The interesting diamond-shape floor plan provides a 225-degree (V-shaped) private balcony with an unobstructed view of the entire beach (north and south), one of only 4 such residences at the 200-foot level on all of Hutchinson Island or for at least 30 miles in either direction. On clear days you can see 17 miles! Breathtaking ocean sunrises greet you in the morning (see photo) and the all-East exposure protects you from the glare of the mid-day sun. You never see a road and only hear the surf! It is not possible to convey in words or pictures the scope of the water view from the 20th floor when all you see is water. Breathtaking!
This bright 1700 square-foot condo has beautiful tile floors throughout the entry, kitchen, dining, living, and bath rooms as well as the den and the balcony. All furniture and furnishings were decorator-updated in 2002 including the bedroom, living room, dining sets and kitchen appliances. It is typically only used a few months each year, so it is very lightly lived in! The living room (shown below) is a spacious pentagon shape. Two walls are ocean-facing glass (see picture) and the adjoining two are mirrored, giving a wrap-around ocean experience! There are twin Nutuzzi leather couches each with 2 built-in recliners, plus a stuffed chair and 2 end tables. A 42-inch Sony HDTV (1080i) with hi-def digital cable and 2.1 sound and premium movie channels, plus a wet bar, provide your entertainment when the sun goes down. We also have a modest DVD collection and some popular board games.
The dining room seats 6 although the picture below shows only 4 of the chairs.
The master bedroom (shown in 2 photos below) has a queen size bed, a bureau, an armoire with a standard 25-inch cable TV inside, and 2 end tables. A carpeted walk-in closet and a clean spacious bathroom with dual sinks and tub-for-two adjoins this bedroom. The 2nd bedroom (shown below) also has a queen bed, bureau, armoire with cable TV, an end table, and a carpeted walk-in closet. Its bathroom has 1 sink and a tiled shower with grab bars. Both bedrooms are carpeted and have original watercolor seascapes painted by local artists. Both beds have comfortable Sealy Posturpedic firm mattresses. A twin rollaway bed is available to put in one of these bedrooms to add a third person.
The den (not shown) doubles as a 3rd bedroom, and has a comfortable queen pullout couch, a desk, and two chests of drawers. A new desktop computer with Windows7 and color inkjet printer is set up in the den for your use with high-speed DSL Internet service. The Internet also has a WEP-secure Wireless-N router ("wifi") which means you can use most laptops and smartphones with it.
The bright & clean custom kitchen (see photo below) has every appliance you need (fridge, stove/oven, dishwasher, disposer, coffee maker, toaster oven, juicer, microwave, blender, Foreman, waffle maker, food processor, etc.) and colorful dinnerware for 10. An apartment-size washer/dryer stack is just off the kitchen.
Central A/C converts to central heat in the event it gets chilly during your stay.
Designer ceiling fans in all three bedrooms keep you comfortable in all seasons. We updated all the blinds and verticals in every room for a co-ordinated fresh look.
No other beach condo for at least 30 miles in either directon is higher than ours. Flocks of birds utilize this feature to soar by our windows and gain extra altitude from the air currents which rise off the building, while scanning the ocean below for food. Of the 190 units in our building, ours is the best for bird watching due to our central location on the curve of the building and our 200 foot altitude. We promise that most days you'll see pelicans, terns, hawks, or other wild birds soaring - literally - just out of arm's reach. Plus, enjoy waving to the occasional airplane or helicopter going up the beach at our altitude!

The "Princess" was built in 1984 and maintains its reputation as one of the finest and most sought-after condominium properties on Hutchinson Island. It is beautifully maintained both inside and out.
The ground floor is common area. There is a game room with ping pong and pool tables, a community room with 56" high-def TV and piano bar which can be reserved for large groups, a weight room with brand new weight machines, an aerobics room with brand new equipment (2 treadmills with TV, 2 incumbent bikes, 2 elipticals, a sit-up board, etc.) and a sauna.
There are 19 residence floors, each with 10 condos. The 2 center units on each floor (including ours) have 3 bedrooms, the other units have 2 bedrooms.
There is a gated entry from the street and a private dune-walk to the beach. Also outdoors is a clean swimming pool (heated in the winter to 82 degrees) and a Jacuzzi, both nestled behind dune barrier shrubs for privacy and a windbreak (see photo below). Also outside are a bocce court and putting green, plus ample parking and a mini-carwash. Two beautiful tennis courts and extra parking for boat trailers are across the street. We include 4 tennis rackets, 8 beach chairs, 2 coolers, 2 boogie boards, a beach umbrella, a beach bag, and plenty of large beach towels for your outdoor enjoyment.
The condominium association activity committee organizes frequent social activities during the winter season, such as golf outings, bingo games, bocce tournaments, holiday parties, and gambling cruises.

Jensen Beach has small-town charm and only 3 stop lights downtown! It is adjacent to the friendly city of Stuart, is just an hour north of West Palm Beach, and about 2.5 hours from Disney World. All the typical seaside activities are available locally, such as boat tours, fishing, Jet Ski rentals, oceanographic tours, and endless beaches. Landlubbers will find that shopping, golf, fine dining, casual eateries, local live theatre, and much more are available on the mainland, which is a 10 minute ride over the new picturesque Jensen Beach causeway.
Walkers and joggers can enjoy miles & miles of pleasant sidewalks up and down Hutchinson Island, right outside the front gate. There's only 1 traffic light within 8 miles in either direction.

Condo rules require rentals to be 2 months minimum and are subject to
approval. No exceptions! Please allow 30 days advance notice to process your rental.
Prices include all utilities: electric/heat/AC, local phone, Hi-Def TV w/digital cable & premium movie channels (LR set only), basic cable on bedroom TVs, DSL high-speed wireless Internet plus computer, local newspaper; and all condo fees. Sales taxes (required by law if you stay less than 6 months) and a one-time cleaning fee are extra. A refundable security deposit is required.
We enjoy hosting those who serve the St. Lucie Nuclear Power Plant. If you're a federal employee, let us know so we can waive the normal rental taxes.
No pets. No smoking indoors.
