Beautifully furnished home with a great view!

We were so pleased to find this beautiful home for our vacation. The beautiful bay windows in the living room and upstairs bedroom gave a panoramic view of the South River. The house was spacious for me and my husband, and our son, wife, and their eleven month old child. The large bedrooms with walk-in closets had luxury linens. The large living area was beautifully decorated with up-to-date furnishings which were beautifully color coordinated. The kitchen was well stocked with some staples, which made cooking easier. We bought food from the local farmer's market and enjoyed meals on the large deck overlooking the Riva Road bridge. We were able to put our kayaks in the river by using a key provided by the home owner for the community docking area. We then docked our kayaks on the private dock at our house. Boat traffic was minimal so it was a good place to kayak. The neighbors were friendly and we enjoyed walking around the unique neighborhood which included narrow streets with beautiful yards. The only problem we had was parking a car and a truck with two kayaks. The parking space was minimal, but additional parking was available close by.

Lynn, the homeowner, was prompt to answer our emails, and was most helpful. She provided clear rules and instructions which made for a wonderful visit. I highly recommend this beautiful home to anyone looking for a unique vacation rental.

Well-stocked kitchen

Review submitted: May 17, 2011   Date of arrival: September 16, 2010

We had a wonderful family vacation staying at your lovely Annapolis home. We want to commend you on such a well stocked kitchen. We had everything we needed to make our stay more enjoyable. It was nice to come home after a busy day of sightseeing to enjoy the serenity of the cove.

Annapolis is absolutely beautiful! It was our first visit to the area, but plan to return soon. We will definitely consider your home in our future plans.

A wonderful experience

Review submitted: May 17, 2011   Date of arrival: August 2, 2010

Rented this place as a home base for showing some old college friends what Maryland, my home state, is all about. The house fit four people with room to spare. We enjoyed chicken necking for crabs and swimming/tube lounging from the private dock. Had a nice dinner at Mike's one night and stayed for the Karaoke at the bar afterwards. Downtown Annapolis is close by car and it is manageable by boat but takes a while. The owner was a pleasure to deal and the house lacked for nothing. Overall a wonderful experience and I hope to be back again!
